SOFTBALL! Say the words and we come running and hitting and catching. We love the game. In Steven's sophomore year, he is really developing his skills. I mean we all know Steve's got skills, but you get the idea. This spring we played on the LDS 1 team at Trail Creek Park. CJ the faithful was behind the plate again this year. We took the first place trophy for the season and in the tourney.
Sadly, we cannot claim the same for team OBH, but we have just as much fun. We have a few more games yet to play this season. If we continue our current rate of performance, we might just might finish with a winning percentage. By far, the highlight of the season was Steve's huge double on his birthday, May 12th. Uh-huh, that's what I'm talking 'bout. If not for his birthday, maybe it was for ole Mom and Dad!

aunt and uncle for now
A section of our blog should be dedicated to all of our beautiful, intelligent, and wonderful nieces and nephews- 6 biological and too-many-to-count-adopted. We LOVE being various versions of Aunt Robyn and Uncle Steve. I love hearing "Aunt Wobbie" or "Auntie Wobyn" if you are Bradley. Some of my personal favorite variations of Uncle Steve are "Uncle Teve" and "Uncle Stevie" (an Ambree creation).
Chuckee Cheese had to be included in the title of this section because if you are our niece or nephew, because we are blessed to call you family or just because you are so darn cute, you have been to Chuckee Cheese with Uncle Steve. (If by some grievous error you are one of our siblings and we have not taken your child who is of age to Chuckee Cheese- sorry Jaxon, your not ready yet Buddy- please notify us immediately and we will try to rectify the situation.

This inagural post is dedicated to Steve. Sorry you weren't the first to coin this clever phrase. "Blog" has been part of my vocabulary for quite some time but the idea was very nebulous. Blogspot really cleared things up for me in their explanation that a blog is pretty much a web page with whatever you want on it. In like fashion, this blog will be pretty much be whatever. As for now, that 'whatever' will specifically be limited to text. Maybe exciting additions like pics and tunes and enjoyable posts will follow...
