First Day of School

PreSchool, Here we come.
She did great, by the way. I kept thinking of this as her first big step into independence. But as I sat in the car pool lane to pick her up, I realized what it really is.
My first step into life as a chauffer. I spent 2.5 hours in the car yesterday driving my kids places they needed/wanted to go. When will she hit 16?

Some Recent Pics

I hadn't realized it before (mostly because I hadn't tried) but it's not too hard to add pictures to the blog. So here are some pictures from the last few months for your enjoyment. -- Ryan

This is what we ogle

Every weekend (well we try to limit it to every weekend) we take a 20 min. drive to Pooler, GA to visit our construction site which will someday be our first house. We are slightly obsessive.

"Ryan, look the electrical outlets are in! I just love electrical outlets."

"Hey Amie, there's plumbing for the laundry room sink."

Look at this nail, isn't this wood beautiful, where should we put the lamp...

We flirt with it, we watch for any detail to change or anything new to be added.

For those of you not quite as interested, here is a summary in pictures of where we are to this point.

The lot

This is pretty much what it looked like last time we saw it.

And through the magic of the internet... (ok well it is the magic of taking pictures at a model home before ours ever started going up) you can see what the finished product will look like. Kind of. More or less.

Oh No, My Poop

Madilyn comment of the morning:
After she flushes, she says, "Oh no! My poop is leaving. I really really love my poop."
Toilet humor, always a staple.
