Well hello fellow bloggers and readers. It's been a while...a LONG while. We've had a very busy {somewhat stressful} past six months and have not felt too inspired to blog...until recently. After much consideration we decided to get the blog up and rolling again because it's such a great way to record what's going on in our lives and stay in touch with everyone {and blogging seems so much more sophisticated than facebook!} The pictures below sum up where most of our time went since January: HOUSE HUNTING. It didn't take long to find the perfect home. Close to family. In our price range. Room to grow into. Etc. We love the neighborhood. Our friendly neighbors. The school district. Our beautiful oak tress. The sprinkler system. The jacuzzi tub!! It's more than we could have imagined!

We also just celebrated FIVE YEARS. Originally, we hoped to take a fancy trip to Europe or Honduras. Well...we bought a house instead. Can you blame us!? Time is flying and we're so happy to be together {and together in our beautiful home}. Looking forward to catching up with our blogger friends.

Much love,
Ryan and Natalie

Monday, January 2nd Natalie's family had to put sweet Bobby Cannon to rest. He was our 12 year old Scotty and the best dog a family could ever ask for. He stuck by our sides through thick and thin, never judged us, and always loved us. Bobby had developed a tumor on his heart. It wasn't until New Year's Eve we could tell he was suffering. We did all we could for him, but quickly learned it was just time to say good-bye. Sweet Bobby is happily waiting for us in Heaven. Ryan said it best, "Well, now God has someone to keep his kitchen floor clean." We will see you again one day, Bobster-Lobster!!

Christmas is probably our favorite time of the year. Of course we take the time to remember our Savior, but we also enjoy the time spent with family and friends, traditions, giving gifts, baking/eating lots of sweets, and our personal fav: relaxing!!! We spent Christmas Eve in Galveston with some of our Zundel family and Christmas day with our Cannon family. Couldn't have had more fun. Enjoy the pics {thanks hubby for the new camera lens!!!}
