Back to school activity day!
We ended up with just Kamryn and Kylie for activity days, but it was a lot of fun. After going over some goals and ways to be prepared for school we gave them the "7-up lifting ways to start school" then we played hopscotch which we learned was much more difficult than we thought. :)
More August!
Grandma and Grandpa Potter had a lot of company staying over for the eclipse. We had fun visiting with my cousin John and his family and Uncle Harold. Of course the most fun was riding horses!
We were helping Lyle's family make applesauce during the eclipse. We took frequent breaks to check on the progress of the moon blocking out the sun. The day became very dark, but we were slightly below the direct path and did not see stars. It was pretty awesome anyway! On the white sheet we saw "shadow snakes" there were wavey shadows on the sheet. So cool.
After their eye checkup we found out this girl needed classes. She picked these ones out and loves them!
I took Bella to Idaho Falls for a photo shoot at the temple in her baptism dress. Her eyes were still a little sensitive from eye drops from her eye checkup the day before and we had a tricky time getting pictures with her eyes open. After all the trouble we went to pizza pie cafe. Yummy.
Me and Lincoln had fun watching them change the cross beams on the power poles.
I thought I felt something in my shoe. :)

Jaden received his Bear in cub scouts. So proud of him! Bella took the pictures.
The younger ones are having a hard time letting the older ones leave for school. :)
Only this kid can make such a mess with an Oreo and cup of water. It's all over his arms and legs too.

Back to School!

First day of school for these Two! Bella has Mrs. Petersen for second grade and Jaden has Ms. Miskin for Fifth grade!
