No really. We are really lucky to have what we have. I'm so grateful that there were no other cars involved in the accident, that NO ONE was hurt, that we were fully insured on our car, and that we have kind parents who have an extra car that they are letting us borrow. We have lost a want, not a need. We have been blessed thus far to be able to have two cars but we can survive with one. It's just money that we've lost and nothing irreplaceable.
So as far as my who's worried post goes, I'm still grateful for my positive attitude and see it as a blessing that I can see the good in what's been going on in my life. I'm so thankful that I don't think about thing that I have no control over. I used to spend so much energy worrying about things that I had no control over. The worry used to kill me. I swear I could have an ulcer by now. Hopefully this is a blessing that I can be worthy of for a while.

Car totaled? Who's worried?
Well as great follow up to my previous post in which I expressed gratitude for not feeling worried about certain aspects of my life I get to tell you all about the accident Ryan and I got to on I-15 complete with pictures of our sad car.

We are fully insured and we are very grateful for our health which was very much protected during this accident. We were dropping me off at work and on our way a gold car decided he wanted our lane NOW and didn't look to see if we were in it. We were. Ryan noticed that he was coming over and tried to dodge him so he didn't side swipe us. He lost control of the car and we pulled a 180 and ran passenger front corner first into the cement median and then continued to drift and hit the passenger side up into the median as well. We sat facing the oncoming traffic of the carpool lane who didn't even pause as they passed the car facing the wrong way and called the cops and my work to try to get someone to cover for me.

We have a lot of guardian angels in our life. I just wish we had a financial one at this point to tell us what to do. We are grateful we didn't hit anyone else and so grateful we both walked away. Thank you everyone that was very concerned for us. We love you all.

Worried, who's worried?
My family are worriers. I come from a long line of worriers. I worry about everything without even really trying. On several occasions I have just gotten that nagging feeling in my stomach without knowing what I'm worried about. Stupid subconscious...
I've been thinking a lot about CA. Moving, quitting, culture shock, no friends, No close family other than my sisters family and some random extended family, money, having no job...
Plenty of things to worry about and yet I have lost no sleep, I have no nagging feeling, and I'm actually way excited. We talk to people about how we found out that the apartments really close to Ryan's work dropped $200 in rent to $1480 a month and it's actually way affordable now and people have looked at us like we are crazy. And why not? Our rent here in good old Heritage Court here in Provo is $540 and yet we'll be able to make it in California. We'll be OK.
Questions about the other categories that should worry me get a shrug of the shoulders. It isn't that I haven't thought about it. I know it's going to be hard. And yet I'm ready to embrace those changes and hardships. I'm excited to move on and face this new phase. As excited as I was when I got married and knew I should be worried about things then too.
God has blessed me with a positive attitude. I know we are going where he wants us to and where he led us to go. I know He's looking out for us and things like the rent dropping on that apartment just let us know that He is making sure we are taken care of. How blessed we are and I thank God everyday for these things.
