jazz performance at chijmes yesterday ROCKSSS. uh. i mean JAZZZ!!!

actual performance started at 5pm but only reached at 8pm... had dinner at harbourfront woohoo great food... *burp*


only managed to watch the last band from KL called jazz function or fusion or auction or wad i didnt really catch it. every one was great. the drummer, saxist, bass, keyboardist OMG my jaws dropped when i heard them play.

have you ever woken up thinking "this is going to a VERY unproductive day. i better do something about it". and tried to push yourself to do work, but some part of your brain JUST WON'T LISTEN TO YOU and you end up slacking the WHOLE DAY while that little voice inside you mutters incessantly "you're so dead... you're so dead... you're SO dead."

that's yesterday.

the worst thing is you dont even feel guilty about it.

*runs around frantically* i should just stop living in hall. the room is one of the most comfortable places to just lie down and do NOTHING. argh.

1. bathe NOW
2. go studio to make the freaking model
3. 630pm leave for chijmes for jazz performance
4. 10pm come back studio and continue with freaking models and drawings
5. until 2pm

i better get down to work, if not i might have to shoot myself in the face.

hanyway. back to the blog. i realised how easily blogs can be found, which is not too good. things have to be refrained from revealing... which is basically what blogs are for. then again, it makes no sense to make yr blog private. where's the sense in that??

oh well. :) dont think anyone in archi will have that much time to dig for blogs... except for studio6 pple hahaha!!!

had my 4th german vocab test yesterday. I KNOW HOW TO DO FINALLY OMG.

im damn happy that im not going to flunk it this time!! but soon on 4th nov theres the major german test. great....

right now, i just want to let you all know, i really really want to meet up with you all in between lessons for lunch and stuff, but really no time la. when u all are free im busy... and vice versa. but pls just know that i really really care alot abt you all... just that no time to meet up :) *huggies*

im amazed at my ability to suddenly finish something when the deadlines really come for me. not exactly talking about assignments though.
yesterday dolly came visiting sheares. mans, the freaking rush to clean up my room, and to clean oreo's room... its unbelievable. i just stuffed all my laundry up onto the shelf, just to get them out of sight. and there were worse things i did, but shall not mention it here. ugh. this kinda reminded me of the time when there were pple coming to view the house, and my mom made us clean up in a frantic rush before the pple came.

drat. handphone alarms DO work, but if they are too close within your reach its gone case. somehow after these months my hands have developed their own instincts to automatically grab the phone when it buzzes and press STOP.

all this done without my brain knowing.

watched 40 yr old virgin with lloyd yesterday. found it a dumb but entertaining show. he seemed to have enjoyed it. oh well. :)

had the initial plan to watch april snow but reached too late. thanks to transport route expert hahaha.

how many people really do feel happy when they take photos? usually when we pose in front of the lens, at that moment before the flash goes off we'll be thinking "hope i look good in the photo." unless you're taking a deliberately ugly photo; but its all the same. we want the results we hope for.

should we just feel truely happy and capture the moment and not give two hoots about how we look in the end? just as long as when u look at the photo next time, u know u were really happy, isnt that enough?

after the movie, we ate at wisma atria's new foodcourt. ok i think it isnt exactly new, just that time has stopped for us in archi. hahas.


how can one not feel truely happy when u are hungry and sitting in front of so MUCH FOOD???

great. i havent blogged for almost a month. almost forgotten that i have a blog for that matter.

but HERE I AM!! archi hasnt gotten much better... im totally lagging in everything!!!

i decided its time to intro u all to my archi friends... easy for reference in the future...


this is fong. our studio group tutor. hes got bludging eyes, and hes famous for it :) we call ourselves TEAM FONG, and our logo is an EYE. we changed our swear words to "fong you!" and "fonging hell!" and write on misty windows "TEAM FONG"... you get the idea. hes a le corbusier fanatic. le corb is a famous architect (not that famous cos i didnt know abt him until i came archi) where he introduced the concept of modern buildings like the HDBs we're living in today :)


this is jonathan, our group leader. we call him jon. he looks really horrible in this photo, seriously much better in real life. like a mother to us, he protects us (verbally when the danger is over, that is.) but hes really nice :)


this is thomas. hes half austrian and half singaporean. uve heard of singaporeans trying to talk like ang mohs, betcha never heard of ang mohs trying to talk like singaporeans!! hes like the father to team fong, gets events settled, and leave the nitty gritty details to jon.

this is nazim. the foreigner in our studio group. hes NOT from india... hes frm MAURITUS!! exotic!! hes a really cool and subtly funny guy, not everyone can decipher wad hes trying to say though. only us hahas. he loves jimmy hendrix! i didnt noe who that was until i came archi too!



yanliang aka yangyang (as wad fong always mispronounce as) hes a virgo!! he looks so cock here hahaha... but basically hes the one who brings everyone back to reality and push us to work hard... nanny of team fong!! serious worker, but if you're lucky enough you'll get to see him whine once in a blue moon. ive seen that blue moon :)


heres josh. 25 years old ahhaha... hes an ex medical student (WAHHHH) yeps and hes really complicated. literally. we push him to do our presentations.. he can speak up to 15mins non stop about ONE SINGLE POINT. talk abt long winded. hes also VERY funny. almost can qie me already hahahas.


shuxian! hes vvv nice guy but compared to the mad guys above he lies lower... hahahaha... gentle and boyish.
