Had a great time in Disneyland with the McCloy tribe - thanks Mike & Mindi for planning a great trip!

My love of flowers started at a very young age (a very long time ago!) when I was posed among the flowers for photos.

My folks used to like to check out the ice that the wind blows up on the shores of Utah Lake this time of year, and I've seen it plenty of times, but for those of you who haven't, here are a few photos. It is pretty interesting, and pretty too -- in a cool sort of way.

From flat and sunny...

Williamsburg is a pretty interesting place. We spent two days roaming the streets and shops, talking to Jefferson and Washington, watching guys make bricks and guns and stuff like that. A day at Jamestown, another at Yorktown, forts, plantations, and getting lost. It was a great vacation. Here's a few of our favorite photos. Watch out Grandpa - that thing might be loaded! Kaden is 9 - love this shot Carson is playing real tackle football - are you sure that's enough padding? Grandma, Ella and Emery - say cheese please :D Jalene and her friends Cass and Loie - we went to school together from kindergarten through college. Every few years we get together with our mothers for a "Mother's Weekend" reunion. What a blast revisiting the past!

Aww, one of my favorite times of the year and it's always fun to share it with the kids. Hawaiian theme this year with limbo, hula hoop contest, boat races on our dumb pool that wouldn't stay inflated, water balloons, luau, etc. It was great watching all the kids have fun playing together. I wish we'd taken pics of everyone with their leis and flowers...sigh...oh well. Here's a sample of some we did get.
