The weather is cooling off...a little!

I love this video. Whenever I encourage Nohea, she likes to imitate me. If I say "yay" she immediately starts with "ahhhh..." When I stop speaking she stops. It's pretty funny!
Nohea has learned to nod her head. She mostly does it when she's eating, like she's really enjoying the food. It's the cutest thing!
I just took this video because it's a look into her everyday personality. She makes me smile!

We are mobile now! Still not quite crawling, but she can roll wherever she wants to go. Somehow she ended up under her jumper and got so mad!

The weather is cooling off a bit, so we like to go for our walks. She is getting so big! She can fit in her stroller without the carseat.
We also took a little trip to the park to try out the swings. She didn't quite know what to think! She really had to work to keep her neck straight! She's so funny!
We really did kinda like it! See? Here's the smile!
Now she's relaxing her neck a little!
Laughing with daddy! I know, it's a little blurry! But her smile just makes me smile!
 Tired out at Walmart!
Wyatt was employee of the year last year and got a free nights stay at The Hotel and dinner for two at Stripsteak so we went down there this weekend. It was an interesting experience for Nohea. She wasn't too sure about her new surroundings, but after a while she adjusted. She is such a wiggle worm now! Always on the move and always trying to grab something, so our nice dinner turned into "keeping Nohea entertained" hour. She's a silly one!

Wyatt and I each got a reaallllyyyy good steak and shared sides of truffled mac and cheese and spinach souffle. So yummy! For dessert Wyatt had coconut key lime sorbet (the best thing ever!) and I had chocolate cake. Yummy!
In the morning, we went to "the beach" and played in the lazy river. Wyatt went to the wave pool and did a little body surfing...of course! :) Nohea seemed to really like being by the pool!
She was so smiley and had a lot of people stop to tell her how pretty she is! Cute girl!
Daddy came back from the wave pool and swept Nohea away in the lazy river.
She was having a great time splashing and floating.
She loves playing with my water bottle!

It's time to go when she starts searching for lunch on daddy! :)
 One last dance!
Here's the view from our room. Kinda crappy picture, but you get the idea! We had a great time living like kings! :) Wyatt will be leaving his job next week to begin a new chapter in our lives. We'll miss the perks of this job, but look forward to being a little more secure in the future!

ok...i take too many pictures!

Nohea loves to visit Uncle Logan and Auntie Laura's  house! She has an assortment of Stitches to choose from!
They all have loads of her slobber on them!
Early driving lessons! She looks a little overwhelmed right? haha!
She's saying "mommy are you sure?"

I love getting on the floor with Nohea! She makes the best faces when we're rolling around!

Good shopping day with mamma! She looks grumpy, but she's not.

 See...happy girl!
Here's another shot of Nohea rolling! She found herself under daddy's recliner! That was a long way!
The main purpose of this post is this video. This is our favorite to date! The anticipation is what gets us! And the hiccups!

Eating, talking and rolling..oh my!

Nohea is working on her language and reallly enjoys it! She can say "bababa" really well! she does it all day long! We're sitting at church and all of a sudden she starts her baba's in her loud voice. Hahaha!

She is now working on "dadada". This video shows her dada's. I love how her tongue gets all twisted! :)

Nohea and I went to visit the Shark Reef and Daddy this weekend. I was trying to pick out a little toy for her to have and we saw this jellyfish. She fell in love quickly! Her eyes light up and her toes start twirling! Its the cutest thing! We named her Jilly the Jellyfish!
Nohea has my nails for sure! Long and strong! I get nervous to clip them, so Wyatt has to. She used to sit still for them...but not anymore!
I have started school this week. Taking six credits at time at BYU-Idaho online. While I was working on my classes, I had a little buddy hangin out next to me! Hopefully she'll always be this good when I'm working...yeah right!
Nohea still loves to eat, but she seems to be liking chunks of food rather than her purees. This morning we had Cheerios and banana chunks. She used to hate bananas as a puree, now she seems to like it
She's usually pretty good at picking up her food and bringing it to her mouth, but sometimes she does this...it cracks me up everytime! The good ole fashioned shovel method!
She also loves avacados! They are sooo messy though! Green goo everywhere! There's just something hilarious about a baby with a messy face!

Lately, when I have been leaving Nohea on the floor to play she kinda scoots around. I don't think it's intentional yet, but she's learning! I had her on a blanket to the right of the picture and she ended up here on her own! When I looked at her at one point, it looked like she was trying to get up on all 4's.

Such a happy girl!

The flash is a little too bright! It ruins her big smile everytime!
Love this face! Sorry, she's always in just a diaper! :) This is Vegas after all and she's eating solids, so she rarely wears clothes for long!

Random Happenings

Nohea has gotten to be fussy pants lately. I'm hoping its just teething and that I don't see this face for too much longer! Although I think it's a pretty cute sad face!
At church playing tug of war. We are always late and sometimes the curtain is open and sometimes it is not.
I went to a bow party a girl at church was throwing. One of her friends was there and she makes makes really cute crocheted things. I ordered this hat for Nohea and love love love it! Winter can't come fast enough!!
Mommy and baby hanging out! She is always happiest right here next to me!
Pretty much since birth Nohea has loved cups! If there's one around, watch out! She's quick! I've been drenched multiple times!
This is the face I get woken up to every morning! Love it!

I got this piano for Nohea to play with while doing tummy time...yeah, that's not working out too well! She HATES being on her tummy!  I think she'll walk before she crawls! But she loves the piano!
Love this big head!

The problem with the piano is she always falls over!

We have moved on from purees...kinda. She still likes pureed food, but she also enjoys learning how to use her gums to chew. So far she likes these little crackers. I call them surfboards. She also enjoys chewing avacados, cheerios and sweet potatoes.
She is also sitting really well. We have been putting her in the shopping cart and she loves it! I think she likes the freedom of looking all around and trying to grab anything nearby!
We love her big cheeks! Wyatt and I chew on them all day long! Poor girl!

When Natalie lived here, I'd sometimes go to Kids Club with her. Even without kids! :) It's just a little show put on at the food court at the mall. It's hoakie but cute! This was my first time with Nohea (when she was big enough to kinda watch). She enjoyed watching Boo the  Clown!
When you come, they give you raffle tickets. Our number was called so we got to go pick a prize from the table! Luckily they had one baby friendly!
Worn out from adventures at Kids Club and still clinging to her prize!

We are trying to get her to drink from a sippy cup. She refuses bottles and only wants mom and the "real stuff". But I worry that I'm gonna run out and she won't eat anything. (I know, crazy new mom worries!). But I think she's finally getting the hang of it. She takes a few sips of water now.
Nohea's favorite thing when daddy comes home is eating ice with him. Daddy always comes home, gets a cup of ice water and sits with her on his lap. Once the water's out, he starts chewing the ice and her eyes light up! She sits there with her mouth hanging open like a little bird! :) She loves to chew ice too!
