We had a wonderful Christmas. My kids were spoiled once again. Stockton and Makenna both got bikes, bike helmets, VS Smile, each of them got their own laptops, trucks, barbies, my little ponies, tons and tons of clothes. Grandpa and Grandma sure give the best gifts. - Thanks! Sam got his Wii (that he opened before Christmas), guitar hero and a DVD camcorder. I really wanted the CriCut and my Wii fit, yeah! Santa sure was good to us. What a great guy! My kids didn't really understand what Christmas was and that it was coming, but they sure caught onto opening presents. They both thought it was GREAT!

Now up to the cabin we go. We had so much snow once we arrived that we had to back pack our luggage into the cabin from the road. We were playing all day yesterday out in the snow, sledding, making snow forts, and having snowball fights. Makenna, Stockton, and Jaker's (my nephew), are having a BLAST together.

Usually when I walk into a room, I see Makenna typing on my laptop or talking on my cell phone. It drives me CRAZY. That is why I have a new laptop now and another cell phone, becuase the old ones were damaged by my kids. So, instead of the normal, she somehow found my digital camera this time. I just got a new camera, so I was trying to get it away from her. The only way was to take a few pictures of us together and let her look and then there was now tantrum or crying that usually follows. So, here's some fun pic for the blog. WE ARE MOVING TOMORROW!

I had this great idea that I should have the kids try on all their snow gear before we get to the cabin. I just wanted to make sure they were both fully equipped for all the snow. Well, at first Stockton cried when I was putting on hise snow pants, but as soon as he knew what they were for, he wants them on ALL THE TIME. I couldn't get him and Makenna out of them. It was fun watching them play, I am sure they WILL LOVE THE CABIN and all the SNOW. Grandma is getting them NEW Sleds and everything. We can't Wait!

We are moving to Shelley this week. We still are trying to sell our home. What a time to sell our house. We are excited to live closer to family, but we sure are sad to leave our home. Christmas sure has different this year - no lights, no tree, we sold all of our furniture and are living out of boxes - it just feels so weird. All of the kids gifts are packed in boxes. Moving the week of Christmas is not fun at all, I don't recommend it. Thank goodness my kids are still young and don't really know. We are leaving the home staged and will be listing it with a Realtor this week. The FSBO didn't work this time. On our last home we were pretty lucky. We sure miss Utah.

Well, wish us luck. We are pretty good at this moving thing now, at least I am not pregnant this time. This is our 6th move in 5 years of marriage. YES, it's been a lot of moving.

My brother Brandon and my sister-in-law Ginger had a little girl and they named her Gracie Ganae Longhurst. Congrats! Makenna will finally have a little cousin to play house with!

Thank you for those of you who called, texted, left messages and wished me a Happy Birthday. I LOVE My Birthday, a good excuse to eat cake! Thank you Sam, he has been very thoughtful. Sam went and got me my favorite kind of ice cream cake, Stockton has been trying to steal it out of the fridge the whole night, it's driving me crazy! Makenna enjoyed the cake, you can tell by the pictures.

I just wanted to wish my wife a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I know she was a little disappointed that she didn't get the WII FIT for her birthday since I tried to tackle a guy at Sam's club for the last one on Black Friday, but she said she still loves me. I did get there in time at Office Max to get the laptop she was wanting (THANK GOODNESS)...I will have to get her the Wii Fit soon. If any of you know where a good deal is, let me know!

You all know how much my wife LOVES her birthday, so send her a birthday wish when you get some time, she would LOVE IT!

Just so you all know, we are moving to Idaho Falls DECEMBER 22nd!! So, we'll be there soon. Red Robin opens January 19th! We have already made some loads and have almost sold all our furniture in our house. We are still in the process of selling our home, so if you know anyone moving to Boise - Let us know...

You heard right, Stockton was running so fast through the house and crashed hard into our enormous coffee table. Poor guy. I rushed over and saw bloode dripping down onto his shirt. I about DIED. I felt so bad. I should of sold my coffee table to a lady the other day that was trying to talk me down....Well, we rushed him in and he was given 2 staples... So, at least it wasn't huge, but he is up and running around again like normal. Boys will be boys!

This was a fun project, I actually used all my own furniture, home decor, I made all the drapes, pillows and cornices. It was a fun job. I am just staying busy. I hope you guys enjoy the pictures. I like to show what I have been doing since I don't get to see anyone anymore. I feel like all I do is work, sew, and be with my kids. I can't wait to move to be closer to family.
