1 more sleep!!!

Tomorrow evening my friend Kerryn and I are heading off for a weekend of scrapping at Warburton for the Scrappy Hollow Retreat. I can't wait, a whole weekend without responsibility (well not alot anyway) I know I will miss Gareth and the kids, BUT a whole weekend to scrap pretty much uninterupted :-D

I have done this LO for 123 Challenge Cyber Crop.

Not totally happy with this one either, but I am feeling a little lost in my scrapping at the moment and nothing is coming together, so I went back to the bare basics.

Sian goes in on Wednesday for her grommets. I know all will be fine, but I can't help but feel a little scared but she is only 2 1/2 and one of my babies (I know they are not babies anymore but they will always be my babies lol )

Take Care and Have a great weekend my friends :-D

update

Where to start LOL

We headed over to SA on Friday 9th for my brother's wedding on the 10th. Managed to get hardly any sleep :( Brad's asthma played up :( Gareth got a sinus infection :(
BUT.... I got to see my 'baby' brother get married (well kind of ... in between chasing my nephews doh!) and spent a weekend with my extended family (mum, dad, brothers, nieces, nephews and my darling hubby and gorgeous kids) I spent alot of the saturday playing taxi for cakes and people and meat platters and flowers etc. But that was the way I could help so I didn't mind.
Really annoyed at the photos though :( I was desperately trying to get photos during the ceremony (and I got some really lovely ones too!) But it was a challenge due to helping watch the kids as well. Then I went home between the ceremony and the reception and thought I would download them to my laptop so I have more room. Grrr I really wish I hadn't. I lost them all :( I used picasa and little did I realise at the time that once they were downloaded I then had to import them as well!!! I am so sure I wasn't meant to take photos. Most of the reception ones were not great either. So now I will have to wait for the professional ones.
Here is a photo of the Bride and Groom and a couple of me and my brothers and one of my Mum and Dad

So back home, but still don't feel like I have settled back in yet :(

I did this LO (which I really don't like apart from the photo) for Bon's Big Challenge... I tried 3 different photos and a few different shades but just couldn't get anything to work for me :( The challenge for this round was brown and blue, altered/dressed up alphas and artistic photo corners with no circles or flowers.

Have a great week everyone :-D

LO

I just wanted to share this LO (will do a better update later!)

The tiles on this LO were the ones I received from the tile swap that Tammy hosted and I must say they are all gorgeous thanks to everyone!

The LO is for this months 1,2,3 Challenge

First up I want to say Happy Birthday to my friend Kerryn :-D Hope you had a good day!

We (Kerryn, her sister Mel and myself) did the 'Take on the Lake' 4km walk this morning and I really enjoyed it. 40 minutes roughly is what it took us, which I thought was a pretty good time, as we are not totally fit yet :)

I have done this LO for the BIG challenge over at Bon's Scrap's - Use Pink, Black & Silver, 2-4 photos, round (own interpretation) and Song Lyrics.

I didn't make it through to Round 3 over at Crafting in Style but I am not disappointed, it was a great experience and I tried things that I probably otherwise wouldn't have! :)

Congrats to all that got through :-D

Now to think about some challenges over at One Stop Scrapping that I have got a little slack with lately

Not long now til the Scrappy Hollow (My LSS) retreat... I can't wait, a whole weekend to scrap. They are having a few mini classes and the rest is challenges and free time I believe. Kerryn & I have booked in to do an OPALS class, that should be fun.

Sian has to have her operation sometime this month for her grommet (only left ear, which is an improvement of sorts) and the specialist told us yesterday that he is starting to believe that the fluid in her left ear is actually affecting her hearing in her left ear quite significantly (can't be totally sure as they are not able to do a test with headphones yet) but that it should be back to 100% after the op :-D

I can't believe there is only a week until my brother is getting married!!!!

Til next time
Take Care
