WOW!!!
I can't belive I won Scrapjacked this month!! I think my jaw hit the ground when I read it and even now at the slightest mention I have a huge grin on my face that you can't wipe off.

A LO to share and my DH's answers to the 'tag' LOL
These are 7 random facts from my hubby Gareth (I did after all tag anyone who reads and wasn't taged LOL)
1. I had my left ear pierced as a dare from a woman I'd never met in real life. My prize for winning was never really collected in full, but I don't mind because that woman is now my wife and I couldnt be happier.
(isn't he sweet :-D)
2. This year I've started to fulfil my ambition to learn the guitar.
3. Having piloted a glider, and done a parachute jump, my remaining (mad) ambitions are to fly in a helicoptor and fly in a fighter jet.
4. I want to holiday in America to see a NFL game and a NHL game.
5. I want to hire a sports car and take my wife on a week-end escape to the countryside.
(awwww :-D )
6. One birthday I had a choice of watching either a basketball game or an ice hockey game for the first time. I made the right choice with ice hockey! I later went to see a basketball game (yawn).
7. I used to teach kung-fu before a foot injury and change in location meant I had to stop.
and a LO that I have done over at Crafting in Style for the STOP the moment from running away 'in style' competition they are running over the next 9 months :-D

It's the weekend again
Well apart from a hair cut tomorrow I think it is going to be a quiet weekend :-D
I want to get the carpets cleaned as a priority though. ;)
The 123,Cybercrop
is on tonight, so I might *try* and do some scrapping, it does run until the end of the month, so I have a little time to have a go at the challenges.
and if you love a Cyber crop there is this one in 2 weeks time :-D
I found out last night that my dad has to have a lump cut out of his neck, the doctor thinks it's a skin cancer. I hope he is wrong, but I guess only the tests will tell the answer to that. I am trying not to think about it too much just yet as it might be nothing.
I am going to be an Auntie again :-D (Not sure if I had mentioned that yet :-D )
No new scrapping to share at this point. I have been really slack.

how exciting!
I was visiting Crissy's blog and she has a post about a new blog/forum Blumar's that is opening soon so I followed the link and I found this post about guest DT positions, so I thought I would try my luck and I had a phone call last night from Maria, who asked me if I would like to be a guest DT member on her new site that is opening soon :-D Pretty exciting stuff for me! It is only a guest position, but it's a place to start and you never know where it will lead :-D

Retreat and Sian's Hospital Visit
Well the retreat is been and gone, but I had the best time and I hope to go again in March next year if they have another one!!

These are the LO's and Canvases and Cards that I finished... there is another that is 3/4 finished that isn't here yet.
We met some really lovely people and plan to keep in touch with some. The fairy ball was hilarious, we had rainbow fairies, pyjama fairies, a fairy crossing supervisor a gothic look dark fairy to name just a few :-D
I won 2nd prize in the raffle, how lucky am I.
and in other news
Sian went in to have her grommet done today. they confirmed only the one needed doing. She was a brave little soldier. Gareth took her into theatre and I went into the recovery to see her once she woke. It was all really quick. Once she saw me she sat up in bed and wanted cuddles. I think we were back in the room 5 minutes and she was demolishing an icey pole. Once that was gone she wanted out of bed. Running and playing no different to before she went in the nurses decided that she should have something to eat and drink and then she could go home. We got her a special My Little Pony plush toy for being so brave :-D I noticed that there was some blood on the outside of her ear and tried to stay calm and remember that they told me that might happen and to just wipe it away. I am assuming there may be more leakage yet, but I hope not too much as it's a bit freaky! Now comes the adventure of keeping the ears of my little water baby dry. Brad a sleepover at his mates place and thoroughly enjoyed it. (Thanks Kerryn!) and another big thank you to the girls at OSS and in particular Jaki who sent me a gorgeous RAK aimed to brighten my hospital day and there was a lovely little note attached.
