The Mind Won't Rest

Here is my BIG school boy... it was his first day today and he loved it. I didn't cry :-D But he looks so grown up. Sian had her kinder interview day today as well (for 3yo kinder) and she didn't want to leave, so I don't think I am going to have any problems there next week either.

We went away for 5 days to Taggerty. It was a fantastic holiday.... Best summer ever acccording to Brad LOL
I must say it was lovely and relaxing. I thought I would share some of my nature photos from the weekend. (just a few of the nearly 500 I took hehe)

I know as you get older time gets faster ... but it's the middle of January ALREADY!!!

Something like 16 days til Brad starts school *shock* thats like 2 weeks and 2 days *sheesh* It's going to be a real change for me to get used to only have 1 at home during the week. I know Brad is going to love it. I will enjoy some time with Sian, but I am going to miss my little guy :( (I know that's probably over reacting, BUT.. I am just so used to having him here) and I think Sian is going to miss him alot too.

I got a phone call from a friend today and it was fantastic to chat to her again. She has such a bubbly and uplifting personality it's really nice to just chat :) Normally a day doesn't go by where I don't chat to my closest friend and that's really special too. I think all that I consider my close friends, be them near or far are all having a fantastic effect on the 'new' me :) Thanks to you all (you know who you are :) )

Well I have received my Design Team Kit for February and I am slowly working my way through that :) Although I had better put the skates on a little as we are away for a week (unless I sneak it in the car and take it with me LOL )

Our car I tell you what a pain. We had to have our middle and rear mufflers replaced today. The noise they were making was horrendous. But it appears that the exhaust had been hit from behind and they had slightly squished under the car, but the strain of it made a weakened muffler give way. Over $400 later it is all sounding ok again (for now!!)

I hope everyone had a great New Years and that 2008 is a fantastic year for you all.

Mine has started on a good note :) and a positive one too. My get fitter/trimmer routine is going ok. It did last year too until I fell off the wagon. But this year is a new and more positive one :-D
