This is what happens at dinner time when your child refuses to nap during the day... dont worry we layed him down right after I stopped recording :)

He got this done the day after his birthday... he did surprisingly well!!!

Today my baby boy is one year old, I can hardly believe that a year has passed since we welcomed him to the world. This past year has had its ups and downs, but it has been the best year of my life. Sure at first it was hard, getting up at the wee hours of the night, trying to figure out why your baby was crying, wondering if you were doing this right or that right, feeling pressures from family about how you are raising your child. We had our fair share of sicknesses this year, me with my surgery, Cody with ear infections, tubes, croup, and pink eye (pink eye is still haunting us!). But in the end, it is ALL worth it. I went into his bedroom this morning and saw my one year old baby sitting there, and I just cant explain to you how happy he makes me. Sure he throws tantrums when he doesnt get what he wants, he wont leave the TV receiver alone, and he has an ATTITUDE like no other, but none of it matters at the end of the day, because I have unconditional love for this baby boy. I cant explain to you how it feels when he walks up to me and gives me a big wet kiss, or just has to sit in my lap. Im not ready for his first year to be over yet, but I guess I will have to let it be. My advice to all of you new mommies, even though the beginning is tough, take advantage of every single moment you have with you little one, because the time just passes way too quickly. They become toddlers in the blink of an eye, so take in all you can while they are still babies.
