God is sovereign and all the world is under his control. Anything that enters our life, whether it is blessing or trial, comes because the Lord has allowed it. When we encounter evil, we wonder why He does not put an end to it, because we know that He can. But God does have a purpose, and history has proven He produces good from even the ugliest of human tragedies.
It got this from a study I am doing each morning called In Touch. It is so great. I am going to try to post a thought for the day eachday from the study. Hope you all enjoy. May God truly bless your day!

Dad's Home
I know just how important Daddy's are to us mommies and kids but I dont really think I understand just HOW iimportant until he is gone awhile and then gets home. David got home yesterday around lunch and we couldn't be happier! He is only home for a short time but we take whatever we can get. The kids are like leaches on him, literally. HA This morning Hunter had school and usually I have to wake him up and it is NOT easy But NOT this morning. David got up early and went to get us all breakfast and Hunter heard the door and woke right up and was scared David was leaving. He got to snuggle in bed with me for a few minutes and then he wanted to get up. That amazed me that he woke up sooo early but it is amazing to me also how motivating Daddy being home can be to a 6 and 3 year old.

Brave Girl
This is so funny. We got Hunter a hedgehog for his 6th birthday back in July. He wanted somekind of animal from the pet store so we settled on a hedgehog(I'm not real sure why). It is very very sharp quills but such a cute face and they told us that as long as we got it out and handled it and let it get some exercise that it would grow up being somewhat friendly. Well we did good for a few months and then started slacking and now noone can handle him at all except my brave little girl, Sydnee. Dont get me wrong, the whole time she trys to pick him up he is hissing and making all kinds of awful noises but she is scared at all. It cracks me up. You can see in the picture above that she is dressed like somewhat of a princess and got her gloves on so she can pick sticker up. She is the only one with the patience to handle him while he is throwing his fits. I dont know what we are going to do with this thing. I dont forsee us keeping it forever. Does anyone want it?
