Weekend Safari

There are alot of pictures and then at the end of all the pics I explain where we were seeing all these animals.

The pic below is my dad feeding the zebra. Notice the zebra's head is in the suburban.

Is this giraffe not just simply Amazing! Incredible.

The pic below is the car that was behind us and check out the giraffe eating from their hands. WOW

Look at the Zebra's head in the car. Simply amazing

Look at Hunter petting and feeding this zebra.

This is Sydnee's little hand feeding this sweet deer.

These Deer's horns were velvetee like. They were Soooooooooooo soft. My Dad said that they will eventually turn like normal horns.

Well Hunter had a rodeo on saturday but it didn't go so good. He fell off quickly. He was VERY disappointed with himself but he got over it pretty quickly as we had a full weekend planned with my parents. After the rodeo we went to a great restaurant on the Granbury square called Babes Chicken and then headed over to the Granbury Live show on the square. It was fantastic and the kids loved it. They LOVE to sing and dance. We spent the night in Granbury and woke up this morning and Hunter swam and Sydnee complained of her stomach hurting ALL morning. We then headed off to Glen Rose and ate at a really good barbeque place where Sydnee proceeded to throw up. UGH! She felt TONS better after that. HA We then went to the Fossil Rim. WOW words cant really explain it but it was AMAZING. It took about 3 hours to drive through and we HAND fed all kinds of deer and elk and other things too but most exciting of all was hand feeding Zebra's and Giraffe's. They actually stuck their heads in our car. Check out the pictures below. It was a GREAT day!

New adventure

Well Hunter had yet another adventure out at our land this week with Daddy. It was on Sunday we all went to work on our land as a family. I painted H braces and David and his daddy did other stuff and Hunter crawdad fished. He had a hard time catching much but he did end up coming home with ONE BIG crawdad. Oh they are not cute creatures. HA The deal he made with Dad was if they bring it home he had to cook it and eat half of it and so Hunter agreed. So they did just that. The first picture is Hunter trying to get the nerve up to pick it up after Dad put it in the dogs water.

This is Hunter saying "Dad, hang on, I'll do it, I promise, just give me time."
Very proud that he is actually holding it.

Now he is getting a little nervous and wanting me to stop taking pictures so he can put it down.

And finally dad is getting the water ready to cook the crawdad.

And now he is in the water boiling to death. YUCK! Poor thing! HA

I wish I had taken a picture of Hunter eating it. Out of that whole big thing there is really not much meat so it wasn't much to eat. David LOVED it! He loves crawfish though. Again I say YUCK! NOT ME! Hunter wanted me to take a bite but I said not this time.

We have so much fun on our land and we dont even live there yet. I can't imagine all the fun we will have when we actually do live there.
Fun MEMORIES!
