SO EXCITED!

Well I could possibly have the BEST husband on the face of the earth! He asked me last week to look at my calendar and see what we had going on this weekend. I said all we have is Hunter's game at 8:00am on saturday. Nothing else. Well he then proceeded to tell me he wanted to take me on a weekend away. I said YEAH! Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes that would be great. We have not been away just the two of us in, well I cant remember when. It has been a long time. I know that. Anyway he would not tell me where we were going. He wanted to surprise me but I told him I needed to know what to pack and what to wear so today he came home and surprised me with 2 tickets to a Dallas Cowboy game on Sunday against the Redskins. I have wanted to go to a Cowboy game ever since I can remember. I am so very excited. Just me and David, NO kids. Wow we are going to have a blast. Thank you so much, babe. I love you!

Sesame Street

Sydnee and I and Matt, Ashley, Baylee and Jaycee went to see Sesame Street yesterday. This is Sydnee very very excited to go in. She talked about it all day. She could hardly wait.

As you can see the girls are very excited to see the show. Say CHEESE!

Well I was a sucker and bought Sydnee a 15.oo dollar light up spin toy. Oh was she happy.

We sat in the balcony so my pictures are not great but I thought they turned out pretty good.

After the show we all went to Cold Stone Creamier for an ice cream treat. Oh that Baylee. She is such a little clown. too cute!

The girls got sooooooooooo tickled. I love to see them laugh. Much Fun!

Fun Family Fishing

Last saturday evening my sister and her husband and two boys were in town and we all went fishing. We just went to lake Kirby but it was alot of fun just being together as a family and having so much fun catching carp. We never keep any of the fish but man is it fun catching them. Here are a few pictures from our fishing night.

I love this picture of Hunter. Isnt that cool they sunsetting and his yellow shirt and the pole and all.
this is Hunter, my sister and her youngest son, Kam

This is my sister's oldest son, Bryce. Bryce is the one on the right with the beige shirt on. The other boy is Bryce's friend.

The Barnes Girls

On Friday my niece, Baylee, got to spend the day with Sydnee and I. It was so much fun. Just the girls! Baylee has been out of town for a while and then we are just so busy we have not had a chance to see them much at all for almost two months so Syd and I jumped at the opportunity to spend the day with Baylee. We didn't do much, ran a couple of errands and came home and just played. Sydnee was in heaven. She loves playing with Baylee or might I say she loves to try to mother her. HA She for sure wants to be Baylee's mother. It is so cute but Baylee is not going to have much of it at all. they are both very independent girls and like to do things their way or NO way.

The picture below is of Baylee and Sydnee and Baylee's sister Jaycee. WOW that is alot of EE's. HA I love it that Ashley wanted to take part in the EE's. You see my mom's name is JoDee, my sister is BranDee and of course I am SanDee and then came Sydnee and the Baylee and Jaycee. Like I said alot of EE's.

Sydnee is in complete and total heaven sitting on the couch holding Baylee, a "real" baby. HA She begs me EVERY day to have a baby for her. It cracks me up. She wants a "real" baby soooooooooooo bad it is crazy. I say NO but we can enjoy all the other babies we are around so she is holding Jaycee and loving every minute of it. Thanks Jaycee for being so calm and sweet to let Sydnee hold you. You are such a good baby.

Look at those girls smiles. Are they identical or what? That smile cracks me up. They are for sure saying CHEESE!

Weird Science

Last saturday, Sept. 13th, Hunter and Sydnee went to a birthday party for two of my favorite people, Currian and Carson Cole. Currian and Carson's mom and I have become really good friends since Hunter and Carson were in the same class last year in Kindergarten and then again this year in 1st grade and Anjani, their mom, and I go to BSF together also. They are a special family and we are very blessed to have met them and thank God for bringing them into our lives. Currian and Carson's birthdays are very close together so they decided to have a combined birthday party and the theme was Weird Science. First of all it was the first Science birthday party I have ever gone to and the kids and I were so excited to go. How fun! It was a blast. The picture below states how much Sydnee likes science, HA. She was very shy and not too into it but still had a great time. The next few pictures are just of some fun experiments they had for the kids to do. I mean really how neat to combine eduation in with birthdays. I'm not that talented. HA

This picture the kids are closely watching a small volcano happening.
this picture they are combining food colors to see how they react and seeing what other colors they can make.

Not much time to blog these days

Well this is what Hunter did most of his 1st football game last saturday. The coach is required to play each boy for at least 6 plays so after the six plays he didnt play much. Which is ok with me but I hate it for him because he practices 3 days a week for 2 hours each time. That is alot of practicing with little game play. OH Well. He still looks cute in his uniform. HA Spoken like a true mom. HAHA

Well this is such a sweet picture of Henry and Sydnee at there school this year. Henry just looks like he adores Sydnee. Sydnee adores him as well but is a true girl which means she is moody and testy. HA But deep down she loves Henry dearly. I hate to think of the day when they will not go to school together. Oh that will be a sad day.

Sydnee and Henry are in the Duck class this year at Pioneer Drive. They go on Tues. and thurs. They are having a great time so far.

More from Last Rodeo

Well here is my 2nd place champion sporting his buckle right after getting it. He is dirt from head to toe, just the way he likes to be. HAHA

For the past 2 years that Hunter has been going to the rodeo's I have wished that he could hold the flag before the rodeo begins. Why, you ask? Well since Hunter was 3 years old he has been singing the national athem and LOVES flags. He absolutely loves them, I say. He wants them on everything in his room and earlier I posted a blog of a flag on his bike. I truly cant say enough how much he loves them so I thought he would just love holding the flag during the prayer and nationl athem. Well my wish for him came true this last rodeo. They asked him and one other muttin buster to hold the flag. I was so happy for him and he was SOOOOOOOOOOO excited. I think the picture of him below is just simply priceless.

This is Hunter as he was walking onto the arena while they announced his name. SO CUTE! I just love my cowboy!

Opening Day

We had a wonderful long weekend this Labor Day. It all started on Friday with the Last rodeo for Hunter. He did great! He won 2nd place in the sheep. He is the Reserve World Champion Sheep Rider. How cute is that! He got him a BIG shiny belt buckle. He is sporting it in the last picture, check it out! He is very very proud as are David and I. Rodeoing is a very long season and takes alot of time and money and he has worked very hard this year to earn that buckle. Way to go Hunter! After the rodeo on Saturday we headed to PK to the lake. We always have a wonderful time there. We enjoyed out boat while we skiied, tubed, and some wake boarded. Got a little sun for probably the last time and enjoyed some Great family time. While we were at the lake David surprised me with my birthday present. I am holding it in the picture below. It is a Browning double barrel 20 guage shotgun. I know your probably saying, I didnt know you were a hunter, and I am really not but I am going to try to become somewhat of one. Of course David can use the gun too. HA David read in a magazine about if you want your wife to enjoy the things that you enjoy you have to make her successful at it so he has equiped me with all the tools to become successful. Now it is up to me. HA We went out to our 40 acres last night and I got to use my new gun first hand. It is a little intimidating and scary because I have not shot a gun very many times in my life but I think I did ok. My shoulder is KILLING me today but I will work through it. I do look forward to the many times where I get to go hunting with my boys. Hunter is just simply in HEAVEN when he is hunting. He actually killed his first bird in the air yesterday. It was awesome. He was soooooo excited. He has hunted for several years but never actually killed his own bird while it was flying in the air so it was a big accomplishment for him. I of course did NOT kill a bird but my goal this year is to get comfortable with just siimply shooting the gun. Killing will come later. HA

Check out my stud man! HEE HEE Toooooooooo Cute!
