Warning
Just wanted everyone to know to be very very careful when ordering online. I am a recent victim of credit card fraud. I didnt lose my card and it did not get stolen but the number got stolen online. I have ordered things online in the past and somehow those very intelligent sneaky thieves out there hacked my credit card number and shopping they went. Nothing as actually cleared the bank yet because of course they are using their own name and address and so things are not mathing up but it is still scary so just a warning for all you internet shoppers! Be CAREFUL!

Christmas at Mam's
Sunday night we had Christmas at my mother-in-laws house. We had a great time as always. The picture below is of Sydnee, Baylee and Hunter getting fired up to open some gifts.

This is Baylee and Jaycee, my neices!

Hunter and Sydnee with their stockings at Mam's house!

My sister in law, Ashley, gave Sydnee this dress. She LOVED it! She loves do dance and this is the perfect dancing dress!

Hunter and his new lamp from Mam, isnt it cool. It is a gun! Right up his alley.

Hunter is always saying he wants to find "real" gold! I dont know where he comes up with some of the stuff he comes up with but anyway he wants to find GOLD, so Mam took him to Frontier Texas a while back and she found this gold mining activity and bought it for him. He loved it. It is supposed to be done slowly and diligently searching for gold but Hunter got some tools from Santa and he dugg right into it and was finished searching for his gold in about 10 min. Oh that boy!

Hunter's Surgery
Last Thursday December 18th Hunter went to have his 4th ear surgery. The first surgery was tubes when he was 10months old, the 2nd was a surgery to fix a hole in his ear drum caused by one tube coming out too early due to an infection, the 3rd was a doctor in Dallas trying to fix the hole in the eardrum also because the other doctor was unsuccessful and now on this December 18th day he goes in for the 4th time. I could not be prouder of Hunter for being so brave and strong. He complained NOT even once at all. He never said he didnt want to have the surgery, he never said he was scared, he never cried, NOT once! I was so proud of him! We had to be at the hospital at 6:00am and we were and then he went into surgery about 8:30am. He was in recovery by 10:00am and we were leaving the hospital at 12:30pm.

Does this picture below look like the face of a 7 year old boy going into surgery? No, he is so Happy and Jolly! I love you Hunter. One of the docs in the hospital gave Hunter this camo hat to wear into surgery. Isnt he cute?

This is Hunters doctor who did the surgery. Dr. Robert Owens.

This is him literally about to go in. Maybe he has a little scared in his eyes.

This is him about to be wheeled down to the car. He was ok but feeling VERY dizzy which made him feel up set at his stomach. Poor baby!
This is Hunter the next day in the car on our way home. He is much better on this day after we got some medicine for the dizziness and upset stomach. That part was awful. He literally could not move at all without throwing up because he was so dizzy. This surgery was a surgery to go in to his ear and mobilize his little bones in his ear. We all have 3 little bones in our ears and they are supposed to move and vibrate all the time and Hunter's were fused together and no moving at all so that is why he had very little hearing in that ear so when the doctor went in he mobilized those bones and when he does that it messes up the equilibrium. Yesterday December 22nd was the first day he woke up with NO dizziness at all. YEAH!!!!!!!!! He cant drink out of a straw for 2 weeks, no blowing his nose for 2 weeks, and no running and horseplay for 2 weeks. WOW that running and horseplay stuff is getting hard now that he is feeling better. Anyway he is doing great! We are so happy. We will go back for a checkup in 2 weeks on January 5th and then again Jan. 12 and then he will get his hearing checked to see if any of his hearing is back. Oh Pray that there is some improvement!

Kids infront of some pretty white trees as we were about to go into the ICE exhibit.

Dad getting the kids ready in there special coats to go through the ICE exhibit.

The polar bears behind the kids, yes, ICE!

Ice Skaters, light post, and trees ALL solid ICE.

Bridge, SOLID ICE!

Santa's workshop, Solid ICE, colors and all. Is that cool or what?

This amazed me, this ice cream cone is completely totally solid ICE.

Again, ICE!

The kids favorite, Santa that is Solid ICE! again I say COOL!

They even had an ICE slide! The kids and David went down while I took pictures.

This is Rudolph, SOLID ICE! I'm not kidding it was incredible. All the reindeer were there but I only took a pic of rudolph.

This pic is for all you wine lovers, a christmas tree made out of wine bottles, not ice.
Gingerbread house!
These are the ingredients used to make the gingerbread house. WOW!

Well this past Wednesday we left in the morning heading to Dallas. We stopped here in Abilene and ate a good brunch at Cracker Barrel and played checkers while we waited on our food by the HUGE fireplace. We then headed to Dallas to go to the Bass Pro Shop, my boys, favorite place in the world, besides Cabela's. HA Santa was there so we needed to see him again and ask him if he could come early to our house this year since daddy has to leave for work on Christmas Eve. Of course he said he could! We then spent 3 hours shopping and looking around. Then we headed to the Gaylord to check it out all decorated for christmas. They also had the coolest ICE exhibit I have ever seen in my life. It cost 67.00 dollars for all 4 of us to go through so it was pricey but worth it. It took us about 45 min to go through it and the whole way through it was 9 degrees. Yes thats right, I said 9 degrees. Of course it has to be that cold to keep the ice hard and frozen. They even give you special coats to wear. I had NO gloves and by the end my hands were almost frozen solid. I could not have went much longer. They were so cold they HURT! Check out my pictures though, it was so cool.

Girls Night Out!
Well these pictures should actually start from the last picture and end with the first picture but blogger is weird. Anyway last Friday night my good friend Rachael and her twin girls, Micah and Avery and then me and Sydnee went to Abilene High to watch their dance teacher's students put on a Hip Hop show. It was so much fun. We all went to Chili's to eat first and then headed over to the program. The girls were so excited, they could hardly wait! The show was GREAT! The girls did absolutley LOVE it! But it is what happened after it was over that was priceless. The pictures below show a little bit of how the girls let loose. I wish so much I had had my video camera. Sydnee really got into it as you can tell. She is for sure my dancer, now what kind of dancer I'm not sure yet, but for sure a dancer. HA She cracks me up! Check out below the pictures.

Christmas Parade 2008
Here are some pictures from the Christmas Parade this year downtown. Hunter rode on his Raider football team float. That is him on the top in the orange hat waving. He had a blast. He absolutely LOVES parades and especially getting to be in it.
My sister in law took this picture of Gran, Syd and myself.
