Isaac's 7th Birthday!
I can't believe that Isaac is 7 years old. Time has just flown by. He had a super fun birthday party with his friends and family. The best part was the marshmallow gun war! I think Tim and Uncle Dan enjoyed it just as much as the kids. I love the pic of Hailey shooting me. She's got quite the aim, it hit me right in the face. You can still see the marshmallow in the corner of the picture.

4 months old!
Time is going by so fast! Logan is one plump, healthy boy. He is almost 15 lbs and a pure joy. He lightens our lives with his smile. He holds his head up so well and loves to sit up with help. He moves all over the floor and is rolling over to the left. His eyes just brighten up when he sees Isaac and Hailey and it's so fun to watch them interact.

And Life Continues!
2 months have already flown by since Logan arrived. The holidays came and went so fast, the kids are back in school, I've gone back to work and life just keeps going. Logan is doing great. He is almost 13lbs. and is sleeping great. He loves eating and has a darling smile. Isaac and Hailey love him to pieces and I love to watch them care for him. Now if only they would transfer that love and care towards each other!!!

Logan Indiana Sandgren
I know that it's been awhile but I'm sure it comes as no surprise when I say that I finally had my baby boy! I was induced early morning on Dec. 13th. It took almost 13 hours for me to dilate from a 2 to a 5. It was long and depressing. Then suddenly I jumped from a 5 to fully complete within an hour. At that point everything went really fast. I only pushed once and out he came! Then things turned pretty scary because Logan wasn't breathing very well. The nurses tried everything they could before they took him to the NICU. I got to hold him for no longer than 30 seconds before he had to go. On my way down to the recovery room, the nurse wheeled me into the NICU to see him. It was so hard to see Logan hooked up to everything and to see a tube down his throat. Tim was there by his side the entire time and that was comforting for me. I could barely reach him from my bed and I just wanted to hold him, kiss him and comfort him. I remember looking around as I was being wheeled out and seeing the other little ones that were in the NICU. Most were in worse condition than Logan and I silently prayed for them to make it and for their families to be comforted. Tim and my father-in-law were able to give Logan a blessing while he was in the NICU. I'm so thankful for the Priesthood! What a blessing it is to have a worthy and faithful husband and family that can use that wonderful power.
Logan's lungs didn't have enough surfactant and so with a little help to breath and a shot he was able to leave after about 5 hours in the NICU. I didn't really get to hold him until the next day. It was a wonderful moment when I got to hold him close and cuddle him.
Logan is a pure joy in our lives and a wonderful blessing from my Heavenly Father. I love being a mother and am blessed with 3 beautiful children. Now we just need to work on his sleeping pattern!

Water Fight
What started as getting the little kids to play in the water, turned into the big kids playing in the water. As uncle Danny put it, "we need to teach these kids how to have a real water fight!" The only problem was that the boys didn't have their swimsuits on and ended up getting soaking wet! My personal favorite is my nephew Jack who is just kickin' it in a little bucket. Good times!
