The boys headed to the church building for a youth group lock in. Before they left we got in one last game of Farkle before the year ends. It’s been a new favorite this Christmas break.Chad and I stayed home and watched some Blacklist and then the movie ‘Greater’. It was nice just relaxing at home and ringing in the new year in my pajamas drinking hot tea!
It’s been the best Christmas at home. Last night we went to visit Papa and Clara Ruth. The boys opened presents from them and we got to visit for a little while. Afterwards we went to Rah Rah’s house for our usual Christmas Eve meal and gift exchange. We had a great time! We came home and opened stockings like we usually do. The boys exchanged gifts with each other.
This morning I got up and cooked a big brunch meal. We woke the boys up at 10:00 so we could eat. Afterwards we headed upstairs to see what Santa brought. The boys are all teenagers but Christmas morning is still full of excitement. We have been very blessed. We spent the day playing with new toys (Nintendo Switch), watching sports, and even enjoying outside time with a glow up football and soccer ball. It was 74* today so it was great weather to be outside. Didn’t feel like Christmas outside but it sure felt like Christmas inside 🎄. We had a great day!
