As promised...
Lee brought in the dresser first without the drawers. Sheebs of course had to hop in and inspect.
As he brought everything in, I supervised from my perch on the glider. I know I looked a little rough that day; I debated even posting this pic. Not to mention I'm rocking a pair of Lee's boxers that say "wise guy" all over them.
Someone was getting a little nervous and took up camp under the crib to watch the goings-on.
She was lovin' the dresser/changing table.
I thought it was cute for about two minutes until she got way too frisky and I had visions of her wrestling the baby on top of the changing pad. It was then that we instituted the new rule of no kitties allowed on the changing table. She's still pissed.
Installing the little drawer-thing on top of the dresser.
For a tiny little room, we did pretty well, eh?
Other angle: glider & dresser/changing table.
I'm pretty proud of us! You should be too. Ciao!

Progress
Here you can see just how much crap has accumulated in this tiny space. For the sake of painting the room, we pushed all the crap to the middle. Effective, I know. You can see many random things, e.g. my license plate from Pennsylvania, the bean lamp from my Grandma's house, leather cleaner, legal sized envelopes, etc. All appropriate things for a nursery.
Sheeba is witnessing the purging from her post on the step stool. A few things make her extremely tense: babies and when we clean. You can imagine the mood she was in.
Lee has started putting together the massive crib. Apparently, I'm giving birth to Paul Bunyan. Also, please notice that we have cleaned out much of the crap in the room and on the book shelf. However, you can see that Lee decided to leave some light reading for the baby on the bottom shelf: Principles of Accounting and Strategic Management. Naturally.
Here he is still working on the crib. This one was a keeper because of how appropriate his shirt is. In case you can't see what the back says: "First Timer". Sunil, remember that shirt?!

No worries, Sheeba approves of her new resting place. She was lounging on it all day on Wednesday.

Here's the most recent picture of me on the left taken on July 4th @ 25 weeks. Also, Here's a picture of my alter ego, a squirrel (or is it a chipmunk, I'm not really into wildlife) storing nuts in his cheeks for the winter. The resemblance is uncanny, I know. Were we seperated at birth, perhaps?
