My parents gave the family a trip to Hawaii for our Christmas and Birthday this year, and can I say I would take this instead of gifts any year! It's no secret that the last few months have been a bit of a struggle, after the miscarriage the thought of a getaway and seeing the sun again was the only thing getting me through some days. Our vacation started off a bit rocky. We ended up at the SLC airport for 8.... yes 8 hours before we got on a flight to LA. We got to LA around midnight and ended up not having bags, and searching for a place to spend the night. The next morning it was off to Maui, we finally get there and all take a deep breath, Porter and Sienna were AMAZING on the 6 hour flight, and all we needed were our bags to get our vacation started. Everyones bags came out, but Casey's and mine.... figures right!!! Our bags ended up still being in LA, and Delta finally got them to us 2 days later. I learned a BIG lesson, always pack a spare set of clothes including a swimsuit, and a toothbrush in your carry on!!

This is basically what our 8 hours looked like at the airport.... a circus show!! Sienna LOVED her makeup kit, and was entertained for quite some time!
Our first night out we went to Bubba Gumps, Casey's one request of the whole trip.

This is was just one of the fun pools Sienna got to play in every day!

I am in LOVE with this little bikini body! I brought lot's of cute one piece suits, but sienna had to wear her "bakini" as she called it.

Dinner at Dukes just up from our hotel.

Lounging at the pool

Siennas afternoon routine consisted of lounging around, and drinking her slushi or a mudslide!

Sienna's first taste of hula pie on her Birthday! Lets just say we had one of these almost every night, and I am paying dearly for them!

Shopping at Whaler Village with her new mermaid from Uncle and Boo Boo.

We went on a early morning Whale watch. Sienna didn't know what to expect, but was excited for every whale that we saw. We have done a whale watch every year that we have gone to Maui, and this one was by far the BEST. I can't believe the amount of whales that we saw. They were jumping and playing basically all around us the entire time. Casey got some incredible pictures, about a 100 to be exact! I just posted a few of my favorites.

What I would give for this little girls natural curls. It was so nice having a week off from fighting her to do her hair!

Notice Casey's sweet whale tale necklace that Pete bought him the night before. Thankfully he lost it a few days later body surfing, otherwise I'm sure he would still be wearing it!

Our first sighting. Sienna was so cute and thought the whales were waving at her.

We never just saw one whale, they where always in groups of four. In this group there was a mom and baby and three males fighting over her.

Whales have to be the most incredible animals! This whale didn't disappoint, he continued to breach over and over again.

I miss the AMAZIG Maui sunsets.
