Family Pictures 2011

Our good friend, Jade took some family pictures for us last week. Perfect timing too because a few days later it snowed. The girls were fairly good but were definitely COLD. Even through the cold, we still got a few good shots!

It was really cold out, so Macy decided to share some of her warmth with Tim... all over his pants!

Snow!

With the threat of snow and the first presence of it this week, we thought we'd put up our christmas lights (yes a little early but hey it's better than Tim falling off the roof!)... So, today we all bundled up warmly and headed out to brave the cold to help him put up the lights.

Syd stayed nice and warmed snuggled in her stroller.

Macy had a blast playing in what little snow we have left.

Yummy, snow!

And she wanted to be daddy's little helper on the ladder. She wanted to go up on the roof with him and was quite disappointed that she couldn't.

Look, Dad! Snow.  Everytime we go outside now she says... Mom, It's cold. Mom, It's going to snow. Mom, There's snow out there!

Daddy and his little helper.

Halloween yummies!

I know Halloween was a while ago but I found pictures of our delicious lunch that we had and had to post about it! Macy and Tim thought it was fantastic!

We had kiwistien, mummy dogs, worms, ghosts, marshmallow mouth, and vampire blood. Delicious!

Just cute

With all the cold weather lately, we've had to dress warm. This was one morning last week headed out to play group. Isn't she adorable?

8 Months

Sydney is now 8 months old!  Where has the time gone?  Our little squid is such a sweetheart and we love her to death.

Weight: 19 lbs 9 oz.
Height: 27-1/2 inches

Syd is crawling like a champ and she is so quick now we have trouble changing her diaper and getting her dressed and well pictures are almost impossible now. Sweet girl! She is getting really good at standing and likes to crawl up to the couch and stand up and loves to stand and play with her toys and the toy box. She loves to smile and has become more routine with ehr naps and nighttime sleeping (at least when she is healthy).  She currently has one little tooth and is in the process of getting three more (two on top and one on bottom). She loves her sister and always gives Macy the biggest smiles of all. She is a champ at holding her own bottle and now feeds herself cheerios, Mum Mums, and bananas. She loves to eat real food and make a huge mess but then it is on to her next favorite thing... Bath Time!

We are so blessed to have this little girl in our lives. We love you Squido!

What is this thing on my shirt?

She really loves her daddy and enjoys greeting him at the door when he gets home from work!

All Grown UP!

I don't know when this happened but my little girl is growing up; way too quickly! And even more crazy she is turning three in two weeks. She already says that she is three and that she wants to have a princess party.

After she had her picture taken she thought that her car needed to have a picture taken as well. She even told him to say "Cheese!"

Breaking Dawn Part 1

Yes, I was one of the crazy ones standing out in the cold last night to go to the newest Twilight movie (Perhaps the latest I have stayed up in quite a while!)  Crazy maybe... but it was a definite great Girls Night Out!!

We had a great time filled with hot chocolate, lots of sugar (we sat in the movie theatre for a good hour and a half before the movie started), yummy soda, and great friends!

If you haven't seen it yet... GO!

Syd's first piggies!

My baby is growing up too quickly. I've been debating for a couple weeks about what to do with survey's hair. It is getting to the shaggy stage but not quite long enough to do anything but a headband with... So after much ado my baby with her first of many pigtails.

Baby, it's cold outside!

It is so cold outside that Macy wore my boots and Tim's coat to walk across the street to get the mail. Burr!!!!!

Halloween

Halloween is one of our favorite times of year (second of course to Christmas). Tim's favorite part of the season is dressing up.  He loves being to be somebody else one day of the year. Hence, we have:

Senor Nacho Libre

I just want to point out that Tim went all out with his costume... he is actually wearing lady's underwear (he found some red granny-panties on sale at Walmart... only $2.99)
and Mr. Nacho Libre with Mini Nacho.  The combined Nacho combo was great enough to win the best costume at our Ward's Trunk Or Treat last weekend. They were awesome!

A cute second place goes to our little duckie. Sydney made a great duck and had a grand time chilling in her stroller while we took Macy trick or treating.

 More Mini Nacho.
Our little family all dressed up for the ward's trunk or treat. (Check out Tim's granny panties; complete with his authentic Nacho mask from Mexico.)
Monday night we picked Tim up at work and headed out to the High School to do a little trick or treating inside (It was so cold!). Macy quickly learned the magic words but chose only about half of the time to say them. Most of the time she would just hold out her little treat bag and smile at the kids. Still cute though.

Momma Raven and Mini Nacho.

Tim dressed up as a basketball player for work Monday and didn't take the time to go home and change before we went trick or treating (but changed back as soon as we got home into his Senor Nacho costume).
I had the hardest time figuring out what costume to wear this year. With all of Tim's enthusiasm about his and Macy's costume, I knew it had to be something good but what?  After searching the internet and Pinterest for a few hours, I found the perfect costume. A raven! It turned out awesome and most of all I could later whatever I wanted underneath to stay extra warm.  (Don't tell Tim but I think I almost beat him out on best costume at the trunk or treat... but Tim was prancing around with Macy all over the place and they couldn't disappoint him. :) ).
Macy had a blast trick or treating with Saige and Olivia at the high school.

Pumpkins

We were so excited to carve our pumpkins this year. It was Macy's first year really getting into it.  Macy and I had spent all day looking at patterns to carve out. We had it down to two: a ghost and rapunzel.  Needless to say, Tim picked the ghost (I swear he's going to turn her into a Tom-boy).  After Tim got home from work we brought in our awesome pumpkins and got straight to work. We got Macy's pumpkin done first before starting in on the other two. Setting Macy's pumpkin aside, we pulled out the knives and went to work only to find out that we couldn't cut into them. Lame pumpkins were frozen solid!

Still not giving up hope, we decided to call it a night, in hopes that they would thaw out over night.  Well.. the next day wasn't any better. In fact, it was so frozen and we were so determined, that Tim actually broke off the knife's blade... which still rests in the underbelly of our uncut pumpkin. Opps!
