The kids had been dying to play in the leaves since they started falling. We don't even have grass yet let alone leaves. Our friend Jessica was kind enough to lend the kids her yard and more leaves than they could pile up. They had a wonderful time! It was a great way to spend a day off from school! Thanks Jess!

This is what I woke up to this morning. I couldn't help but take a picture. What a beautiful word God has made for us to enjoy! 
Emma had the opportunity to participate in the Little Raider Cheer Clinic and cheer at last Friday's home game. It was a very wet night but she had a BLAST! It was written all over her face how much fun she was having. 
Skylar didn't care much for her poncho. 
She did love hanging on the fence though.

Matt had meetings this past week at Big Cedar Lodge. We were fortunate enough to be able to tag along. It was such a fun place! So many things to do and soooo beautiful! The kids had there first boating experience. The loved tubing. (of course I forgot my camera for that) 
Such fun family place!! We can't wait to go back.

The carnival rides run the week of the 4th in town. The kids had a blast! I don't think there is anything they enjoy more. 
We had a wonderful trip to Phoenix this past week to see Matt's sister and her family. The weather really couldn't have been better. It was the coolest June in Phoenix since 1913. We all loved hanging out by the pool and the cousin's had many hours of fun. Thanks Mel and Andy for a GREAT week!
The cousins! Matt's cousin Laura and her kids were able to come by for the afternoon. It was fun to see them and see how the kids have grown. Bennett was happy to finally have a boy to hang out with.

Forget expensive pool toys Skylar was entertained for hours over the week with two empty bubble containers. 
It doesn't get much better than sitting next to the pool with a drink in hand watching your kids have fun.

It seems like just a few days have past since he started school in September. 
Now here we are at the end of the year! My how time flies!! Next up Kindergarten. I know Bennett's ready now if mom only was. 
Yesterday was a great day for the annual Field day! The weather was wonderful and the kids had a blast. Emma was so excited to head to school and couldn't wait for the popsicle at the end.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!! I feel very blessed to say that a couple years ago I thought he may have been taken home before hitting 70. Thank you God for so many blessings! I love you Dad! 
The Schoenbeck's and The McGuffin's made their way to the OKC Memorial Marathon. The 4 of us ran our first 1/2 marathon. It was an unbelievable experience! 19000 people were involved in the days events. I will absolutely do it again! I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. It was a really fun weekend other than the fact our cat Farley died while we were gone. Matt and I hated not being there for the kids. Fortunately they have wonderful Grandparents that did a tremendous job of consoling them in our absence. We miss Farley but are happy that he isn't suffering anymore and we didn't have to choose his time to go.
