Scott and Missy

We celebrated Garett's 11th birthday yesterday. I think he had a really good time. We had planned to do some things outside but it rained. We did the best we could inside. Gran and Big Daddy came over for the party. Garett's buddies Jonathan and Emily came so I am sure that he loved this even more. He was surprised with his Fantastic Four figures. He had already got some clothes earlier so he didn't know he was getting additional things. Elaina is next, I can't believe she will be 8 next month. I am going to post what little pictures I have from Easter on here as well. I am not a great picture taker as you can probably see. Somehow, in our house the pictures come out so weird with either really bright backgrounds or dark. The kids had a good time upstairs in the kids room playing the WII. ALso, daddy seems to be improving so that is great.

I thought I might share some pictures of Garett and Elaina. They went Spring Break to Arkansas. They even got to go fishing with their papaw Harrell and Granny Glo. These are pics from the trip. Gloria emailed me the pics. Thanks Granny Glo! Elaina caught 10 and Garett caught 7. At least that is what they told me anyway. I will post some Easter pictures soon I hope.

I came over to Helena tonight to see mom and dad. Daddy is still in the hospital. We watched the ballgames. Yes, the HOGS pulled it off! Mom and I went for an unsuccessful shopping trip. I am helping her tonight load the pictures she took with her camera of Tammy and Chris's foster children. Enjoy Levi (2), Isaiah (3) and twins Naomi and Gabe 11 months.

Right now the kids are gone for spring break and boy do I miss them. I found this picture today going through some I have saved. There are times when Elaina has some facial expressions that look just like Summer to me. I have heard this from some of the other family members also. I took the opportunity to post this to see what you guys think? I know it has been a while since Summer was 7 years old. Sometimes I just see something familiar out of Elaina about her. Elaina thinks Summer is gorgeous and now she hopes she still looks like her when she gets older. LOL.

Last night Scott and I had to meet with his family to discuss the big family vacation for this summer. The option is Myrtle Beach or Destin. HMMMM, lets see! Beach vs. Beach! Not a problem for me either way. Now it is just hard to explain to Scott that you can not possibly take 5 people on vacation for less than his so called $1000.00 budget including gas, eats, and board. GOODNESS!

Mom called me around lunch. Daddy is now in the hospital with an infection. He is having to take IV fluids to try to battle it. Please keep him in your prayers. 1. Because he is ill and has to stay in the hospital and 2. Because the tv in the room does not have a tv with ESPN, so he is missing March Madness :(. It is a sad day in the town of Helena. LOL.

Hello everybody! We got SNOW! I was bummed that Garett and Elaina were on the way to Arkansas and did not wake up to see this. I got up early, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT, to make pictures. I did video too but I have to take this technology one step at a time. I belive I need Sara Jackson's blog and slideshow class 101. The snow was gone by about 10:00 a.m.. I enjoyed it while it last. The roads were not to bad either so that was great. This was on Chris's birthday too, Happy Birthday Chris! We have some excitement coming up. Brandon is getting married in May so we are going to be headed to Atlanta and then for a family vacation. I am still hanging in there with school! It is getting harder and harder. I will be so glad to see December this year. Take care everybody.
