In Memory of Grandpa Lowell Taylor

My Grandpa Lowell passed away last night due to health complications. He went peacefully though, which I am grateful for.We were able to visit him the end of October which is when we took this photo. I am so glad that we stopped to see him:) You never know what lies ahead. Embrace those that you love and cherish every moment.

Picture Time!

Since there is so much to catch up on I figure that pictures can kind of tell the story. We have been very busy lately and have had a lot of fun, which is a good thing... but unfortunately we did not get pictures of some key events. We had a fabulous fall and have really enjoyed winter so far as well!I will try to keep posting so I don't get so far behind again:)

Labor Day Weekend!

Our annual labor Day tradition with the Schwab side was so nice and fun! We always really enjoy the outdoor beauty. The tradition started many years ago when Scott's mom was a teenager and worked up at Colter Bay in the summers to make extra money. She loved it so much that she dreamed her family would one day come up there and be able to enjoy the beauty. Scott went quite often growing up and the tradition remains. It is a great way to relax and to spend time with family. For those of you that don't know it is up by Jackson Hole and where we stay these days is at Signal Mountain by Jenny Lake. Scott's parents give so much to make this happen. We went up a day early and went on a hike up to Inspiration Point with Sher Bear Scott's mom and Dynie and Trent. The kids loved it! Gavin held a rock in each hand and insisted on climbing the whole way. Scott had him on his shoulders a couple of times in the begining but he insisted on finishing on his own. He especially liked the boat ride out there. We took turns holding Cambree but she loved it! Natalia led the pack and really enjoyed it as well. The rest of the time we enjoyed great food, rafting, fun games, a nice mountain run, a talent show, and R & R which included busting out the nail polish and making our toes pretty.(The girls anyway). I didn't get pictures of everyone darn it but everyone was there. Thank you so much Schwab's!!
