When I asked Scott if he was going to do his annual 5K this year, his response was that he wanted to try a 10K. This meant he had to run more than 3 times before the race. He actually semi-trained for about 2 months. And it payed off. He did amazing! I was supposed to sign up with him to push him, but instead he pushed me. I developed an injury about a month before the race and thought I'd recovery in time. Only problem was I couldn't run on it if I wanted it to heal. I tried running twice but it hurt and I didn't want to make it worse. Long story short, I ran with him and at mile 4 the pain was back with a vengeance and at mile 5, my Achilles locked up changing my whole running form to where I was pretty much spent. I kept telling Scott to go and finish and finally the last stretch he did. He beat me by 5 seconds!!!! He finished in 45:23. I am so proud of my little runner husband. Who hardly trains and does AWESOME!!!! Well done Scott! Next race.....a half! ;-)

Photo Shoot
Molly is constantly saying, "Mom, get the camera and take some pictures of Nate and I". She's pretty photogenic and fun to take pictures of.
Molly loses her tooth
Molly had her first loose tooth for about 3 weeks before it finally came out. It was so loose for 2 of those weeks she could push it out with her tongue and it would lay almost flat. But the silly girl did not want anyone to touch it. Until one night she finally okayed Scott to try and wiggle it free. Her little, slimy tooth and his big fingers just couldn't get a good enough grip. Then I got to try.....to no avail. Then she finally allowed Fos. Before he could get his hand out, she pulled away and said "Ouch" and covered her mouth. I looked down and saw something in her hair. Yup, it was her tooth. So, Fos pulled Molly's first tooth!

We went to Vale for a Jacobs family reunion over the 4th of July. We aren't very good at taking pictures, but we floated the Malheur River, went to movies, ate lots of cookie dough, we were in the Vale parade to celebrate my grandparents posterity (they would have been married 70 years this year), rode 4 wheelers and played and played

Foster was playing around a rain gutter that was lying on the ground, slipped and got this on his face. He still looked pretty cute!
We had pizza one night and Molly wanted her picture taken with it because pizza is one of her favorite foods!
My brother and sister in law and their cute girls came to visit one weekend.

Sister in law, Christina's turn!
We enrolled Foster in a camp this summer. It was 6 Saturdays for an hour. They did baseball, soccer and basketball, each for 2 times. I think he enjoyed it, but didn't enjoy the heat.
Looks like we need a little more practice on "shooting" the basketball!
All the little kids in his group
Scott and I did the Dirty Dash 5k. This is the only picture we got from my friend since we were both running and pretty muddy! This was the final mud pit. Going in together!
Last Day of Kindergarten
Our little girl is growing up! It brings tears to my eyes to think we have a first grader!!!!!! Where is the time going? We're always warned about this and don't believe it until it happens to us!
Anyway, Molly LOVED kindergarten. She came home from school and the first day she had home work, she said, "I LOVE HOMEWORK". I wanted to record it so when she's in high school she can feel the same way. She did very well in school and we are so proud of her!
Walking out for the last time as a kindergartner
