We decided last minute to go to Vale over Memorial Day weekend. It was fun getting to do things we sometimes don't get to do when there are so many of us there. It's a little easier to round up 6 guns instead of 26 or 3 horses instead of 13......! We left after Scott got off work Friday night and came home Monday afternoon. It was nice having Monday off so we could stay for all of church and hang out for a nice Sunday afternoon. Saturday we went out shooting prairie dogs then road horses that evening. We had lots of fun and the kids, of course, did too. They got to ride the little kid quad, horses and even learn to shoot guns!
Cal and Foster.....they are 9 months apart (Fos is older) but Cal is his size. But that's not hard to do since Fos is still pretty little!
Nate just wanted down.......did not matter if he was sitting in dirt. He was happy as can be!
Little cowboy Fos
Sister, Rachel, showing us how it was done!
Molly and Bella would ride around laughing so hard. It was pretty stinkin' cute!
Scott was sharp shooter of the day. I think he was 10 for 10. He was sitting ready when someone else would shoot and miss, he would nail the prairie dog. They didn't have a chance with a gun in his hands!!!
Fos learning how it's done
Bella has it down......scope and all!
Kids on a fence.....priceless picture!
These girls make it a point to match clothes. Thank goodness it's cute at this age!
The next rodeo princesses.
Foster and Emmy
As you can see.......real cowgirls wear flip flops!
Nate loved riding the horses.
Elvis, the horse, was so kid friendly. Some how he knew when an adult was on him. Scott tried to lead him out to the road, but Elvis would get out of the barn and turn right back around. I was laughing pretty hard. It's true horses can sense their riders feelings!!!
Twins again!
Captain America jumping in to save the day!!!!
Dallie was sweet enough to let Molly and Bella do her hair and makeup too! They are getting better for sure!!!!
