Parker is the sweetest boy . . .
Can I just say how much I love my little son - I really can't describe it besides that everytime I see him I feel this surge of happiness go through me. Sometimes it's not that delighted type of happiness, sometimes it's the tender kind . . . that's usually when he's crying or has just fallen asleep in my arms. But I always feel happy. There is nothing like it ~

Recent pics . . .
Once I get my life in order (in balance!) I will hopefully post more regularly, but for now, here are a few recent pics of us (mostly Parker).

5 months old!
Happy birthday to our sweet boy Parker! He is SO wonderful . . . it is hard to describe how I feel. I LOVE spending every day with him . . . my special little friend -- he is so loving! Our favorite time of day is the morning. He is always so smiley and happy in the mornings and does most of his "talking/singing" then too. After I feed him in my bed, we just laugh and play in bed for as long as we want (unless I HAVE to go somewhere). I love my mornings with Parker!! :) Here are some recent pics of him:
( he likes to bury his head into his daddy when he is going down for the night)

I know, I know . . . I haven't blogged forever . . .
. . . but I do have a good excuse -- I just discovered FACEBOOK! I didn't even know what it was until July but since I've jumped on the bandwagon, I have gotten back in touch with so many old friends . . . especially ones from NH!! This last weekend I went to visit one of theose friends who now lives in Utah (see pic below):
This Sunday, I am having another friend from NH over for dinner who now lives in Boise, whom I also discovered on facebook! (We went to Matthew Thornton elementary school together!) This is really helping me connect with my past and I feel like so much more of a whole person, instead of like I had lived two different lives --first life in NH, second in Boise -- with the two completely unconnected. Anyway, it's hard to explain how it feels . . . but it is great!
And now the news you've all been waiting for . . . Parker!!! He has now learned to roll over -- first from tummy to back on Aug 24, then back to tummy on Aug 31 . . . now he just rolls over and over all the way down the floor! He is getting so strong but is still just as sweet as ever. Here are some recent pics:

SMILES
Parker is 3 months old today . . . I couldn't have imagined how incredibly wonderful and
beautiful these three months would be. All the joy I had hoped for in having a child, I feel in my son. And the joy is so much greater now that he is real and not just in my imagination! I can't even express how much I love him. Here are some pics of his beautiful, engaging, handsome, warm, loving smile.

Cruz & Parker
You may recall an earlier post which contained the first pics of Parker with his cousin, Cruz . . .
Here are some more recent ones:
Cruz: "Who are you?"
Parker: "Hello, I'm your cousin!"
Cruz: "Oh . . . in that case I will give you a kiss!"
Kat: "Cruz, remember Gentle Ben."
Parker: "Don't hit me!"
Parker: "Well, I guess if you let me suck on your arm."
Kat: "Don't worry, Parker. Cruz isn't sad, he's just trying to crawl."
Cruz: "Just one more scootch and I'm there!"
best friends :)
