Disney on Ice

Ella absolutely LOVED the show. We got there early and I was showing her where Micky Mouse was going to come out.... she didn't move her eyes off of the stage until she saw him.

Ward Christmas Dinner Party

The pictures of my kids with Santa are almost identical to the ones last year! Seriously, check out the archive on this blog!! Still.... don't know why my kids are deathly afraid of a man who gives you a bag full of goodies.

This is me trying to put Ellla on Santa's lap, but she would have no part of it!
So, a picture next to Santa was the best we could get.... exactly the same as last year!

Here's the kids enjoying Santa's candy bag.

Bounce Houses & Dress-Up Dance Parties

Don't they look like little trouble makers here?

It's Beginning to Look A lot Like Christmas

We started a new tradition of cutting down a Christmas tree together. It was freezing cold that day, and the hot chocolate afterwards was much needed.

Charlie my bro-in-law is 6'4" so you can see how tall this tree they picked is!

Denver Zoo

Denver had one day that was 65 degrees on Black Friday so instead of hitting the shops we went to the zoo. It was a fun outing to do with the kids.

Thanksgiving in Denver

We were lucky to have my sister fly us all to Denver for Thanksgiving! It was great to see family and spend some time together. We made EVERYTHING from scratch... even the crust on the pies. I helped a lot with the food making this year, which was great. I learned how to prepare a turkey, and make stuffing, dough, and my favorite pies from scratch!
Chocolate Cream Cheese Mousse, Pumpkin, Pecan and Key Lime Pie

We planned it so it'd all be ready around nap time for the girls so we could REALLY enjoy a peaceful Thanksgiving Dinner.
