It was an absolute thrill to spend Saturday at the Smithsonian @airandspacemuseum in Washington, D.C., for the “Soar Together Family Activities: All About Rockets” event. Presenting Rocket Beams, Lunar Dreams alongside author @chiarabcolombi was a total highlight—some strong rocket energy during our talk as we shared the stories behind our characters and the creative process of making picture books. Between the presentations, our activity station buzzed with young explorers diving into stickers and activity sheets, and it was super fun to sign so many copies of our Rocket books (including the new board book edition) for the crowd. Surrounded by the history of flight while discussing our own lunar dreams made for a completely unforgettable experience.
