I was working on a project for Tate's class that involves the kids pictures. I called Tate in to identify one of the kids and he continued name the other kids on the screen. As he was saying their names he added another tad bit for one of the girls is his class....she's cute. Uh...ah...gasp...what?!?!? It totally made me laugh. I said oh ya you think she's cute..."ya".
I continued working on the computer and came across another picture that needed identified. A girl. He said, oh ya that's **** she's the new girl, and he quickly left the room to get back to his show meanwhile muttering, "she's cute too" as he walked away.
I have never heard Tate talk about girls being cute or liking them hahahaha.
He probably chases them on the playground....

New Years Eve 2011
On New Year's Eve Emmy and I (we were the only ones that got up) went out to breakfast to JP pancake for a yummy breakfast. If you haven't tried this place you really should! This was my breakfast...nutty french toast. You can't see in the picture, but one side of each piece of french toast in covered in nut pieces. Almonds & walnuts oh my. They are "famous" for their oven baked pancakes (German pancakes).
Since babysitters are scarce on New Years, we got together with some friends and their kids along with a couple cousins. The kids love to play the candy bar game every new years. It was so funny to watch. We also lit off some fireworks, enjoyed some Merano's (kids had pizza), adults played some Shanghai. It was a relaxed and enjoyable night to ring in the new year.

Enchanted Island
For Christmas grandpa and grandma Williamson gave all of the grandkids in town certificates to Enchanted Island in Encanto Park plus $10 to spend how they wished. So we took them all at the same time (minus Jeff and Amy who were home with the Williamson curse:( )
There were bumper boats just for the little kids, they loved it!
(her boat is moving she is just not steering hahaha)
There was a booth where every time you played you won so basically the kids all bought these inflatable things, plus a fudge bar...
IT was a good time!

Christmas 2011
This year CHRISTmas fell on a Sunday. We woke up and opened presents as usual. Then we headed over to grandpa and grandma Phillips' house for our Christmas breakfast. It's always fun to get together and see and hear what everyone got. Here are the kids opening their presents from grandma and grandpa...
THen we headed home to get ready for church. WE only had sacrament meeting for the day and it was the Christmas program by the choir. So appropriate for the day!
This is where any normal family would insert a family picture of us all dressed up on Christmas day, but not us. Apparently that's too much to ask of this family.
Then after we got home grandpa and grandma Williamson came over to visit. I put a ham and potatoes in the oven. We enjoyed a great dinner and then headed out to see some Christmas lights and visit the Watsons to see how their Christmas was.
It was a great day. Now on to winter break and New Years!

Williamson Christmas Party 2011
We hosted the Williamson Christmas party this year. It involved eating lot's of good food, a talent show (emceed by Todd and Tyler), kids acting out the Nativity, cousins gift exchange and the adult white elephant style gift exchange.
It also included this serenade from my SIL's dad who is in town awaiting the arrival of her baby! And yes, he is an Elvis impersonator.

Class Parties
TOday was a busy day of class parties all around. First was Claire's preschool party where they did a little gift exchange with the kids. Claire had Kenli and Addy had Claire. The kids loved giving gifts. Then we had pizza and treats.
Then at the end of the day we headed to Tate's class to grab a picture for the yearbook of the kids in their PJ's and their bells after watching the Polar Express.
