Messy Face

Jacob got so messy helping me make a chocolate pudding pie. He loves to climb up and sit at the kitchen table. I guess it makes him feel like a big boy.

Jackson Hole

On Saturday we decided to drive up to Jackson. We had such a fun day. We love having our weekends together. It is finally starting to feel like Aaron is done with school, because we can enjoy the weekends and Aaron doesn't have to study!

Bike ride with his Daddy!

Last night Aaron and Jake went on a bike ride with the new bike trailer. Jake loved it. He didn't want to get out. When Aaron would stop he would rock back and forth to try to get going again!

Fun at the Lake

Yesterday we went to the Lake to go jet skiing with the Karpowitz family. Jacob had such a fun time on the beach and playing in the water. He was not afraid of the water or being dirty. He is such a boy! He had dirt all over him and couldn't be happier! He even tried to eat the dirt!

That poor head!

Jacob seems to be always running into stuff with his head. A couple of days ago we were playing on the floor and he tripped and ran into the corner of the door. It was so sad, poor little guy.

It will be a miracle if he makes it to 2!

Jacob has became quite fearless. He climbs onto anything and everything. Yesterday at lunch Aaron came home from work and was sitting at the table eating his lunch. Jacob of course wanted to sit right at the table like daddy. He thought it was great sitting up at the table like a big boy. So later that day after he woke up from his nap he went back into the kitchen and climbed onto the chair. I set him down and pushed the chair in and walked into the other room. I came back 30 seconds later and Jacob had climbed back onto the chair and then onto the table. And he was pounding on the window. It scared me to death, but it didn't seem to scare him. So this kinda worries me that he doesn't seem to be afraid. I can't take my eyes off this boy!

Home Sweet Home!

We finally made it home last night. After being in Texas for a few weeks and then spending last week with Aaron's family in Boise we were ready to get home. Aaron finished up the Bar exam on Wednesday and he is so glad it is over! I am sure that he is sick of studying. I am excited to have him home in the evenings to spend time with Jake and I. So maybe now it will feel like Aaron is really all finished with school!

Hot Day!

Jake loves to play outside, even when it is hot outside. As soon as the front door opens he runs and tries to escape. He is so sad when it is time to go back inside. While we were in Boise last week he had such a great time playing in Grandpa and Grandma Seable's backyard. He loved all the ride-on toys!
He is such a cute boy.
