10 more weeks!

Well I guess it is time for another picture. I am 30 weeks along on Friday. I feel like I have really had a growth spurt over the last month and feel like my belly is getting huge.

We have the nursery almost all put together. I still have a shelf and some pictures that I need to hang on the wall. Hopefully I can get that all done this weekend and take some pictures of the room. Everything is pretty much all ready for the baby, now we just have to wait.

Nothing is set yet for the baby's name. Aaron wants to wait till he is born to decide.

Domestic Violence

On Thursday, my visiting teachers were over and Jake was playing in the living room. He was just having a fun time and was all excited that we had people over. Jake was getting a little too excited and all of the sudden threw his Mr. Incredible action figure into the air. When it came down, it hit me right in the eye. It really hurt, but I had no idea that it would give me a black eye. It seems that everywhere I go I have to explain to people what happened.

This picture is from Thursday. It wasn't very dark at this point.

This picture is from today. My bruise looks darker than in the picture. But it is not nearly as tender as it has been the last couple of days.

Update

I don't have any new pictures to post, but I will try to post some soon. Everything is going good up here in Idaho. Jake has been talking more and seems to copy a lot of what he hears from us and other people. Jake will sing all the songs from nursery and loves to sing the "little einstein" song from the disney channel. This week he started singing "You got a friend in me" from the toy story movie. He only sings that one line, but it is so cute.

I have been working on getting the baby's room all put together. All the baby clothes are washed and put away in his dresser. We set up the crib a few weeks ago and Jake loves to climb in it. I am hoping that by having it around for a few months he will become less interested in climbing in it. Hopefully that will work. Right now he climbs in the crib and says "night night" and lays dpwn. We are planning to finish painting the room this weekend and I am excited to have to all done and ready for the baby. I will take some pictures once everything is finished.
