Our Weekend

We tackled a huge project this past weekend. We have been wanting to buy a swing set this Spring and have been having the hardest time finding a store with them in stock. I guess everyone else in Idaho wanted a swing set too. So anyway, I finally found a Wal-mart that had 2 swing sets in stock. So our Saturday was spent putting together our new swing set. And of course it was the hottest day of the year. It was 94 degrees! Aaron did such a great job putting it together. The boys love the end result and I am sure we will get tons of use out of it.

I thought it was so funny when Jake started playing on the slide before it was all put together.

I tried to take a picture all of the wood, but I couldn't capture it in one picture. There was tons of wood, screws, bolts, washers, and all the plastic accessories.

If I were a billionaire I would.....move to Texas, buy a new house, pay everything off, help out my family, take my family to Disneyland and on lots of other fun vacations.

3 bad habits.....I procrastinate too much, I love sweets, worry too much

5 jobs I've had....store clerk at Hallmark (in Texas and in Utah), day camper counselor, administrative assistant, mom

Jake's Artwork

I have been meaning to post these cute drawings of Jake's. I was so impressed with his ability to make a head with eyes, ears, and a mouth. He told us it was "buzz lightyear".

Girl's Weekend

Last Wednesday I flew by myself down to Utah to meet my mom and sister. We went to Women's Conference at BYU on Thurs and Fri and had the best time. The classes and speakers were wonderful. On Saturday we all went shopping and spent the evening together at my grandma's house. We basically just played for 3 days. I was so exhausted by the time I came home on Sunday, but I had had the best time. I love my mom and sister so much. I am so grateful we could spend some time together. I can't wait till next time. How about next year?

I just realized I didn't take hardly any pictures, so I have to get some from my mom and Malinda. Here are 2 I took of my little niece Hailee. She is the cutest, sweetest little thing.
