We are going to be in Texas during the first part of July and I want to have a play date. Malinda and her family are going to be in town too.

So how does the spray park in Allen on Thursday July 10th at 10am sound? I hope everyone in the area can come. Let me know if you can make it. It will be so fun to catch up with everybody.

I have been a really bad blogger lately. I haven't been taking a lot of pictures either, but I did take some pictures over the weekend. We went to the lake on Saturday with Aaron's parents. This was the boys first time on a boat and it went very smoothly.

Grandma Marsha bought Jake a Lightning McQueen fishing pole and he was in heaven. We weren't sure if he would like fishing, but he loved it. He didn't catch anything, but more importantly he had a great time.
Austin wasn't so sure about riding on the boat. I also don't think he really like the feeling of the life jacket. He kinda looked like he was wearing a neck brace. A couple of time he dropped his cookie and leaned over to get it and couldn't reach it. That was a little frustrating to him.
On the ride back to the dock to load up Austin fell asleep in Aaron's arms. Being in the sun was exhausting for the little guy.

We had a fun time on the lake and Jake has been talking about fishing ever since. The only bad thing is that I have a terrible sunburn on my back and shoulders. It had been a while since they had seen the sun. So I am still hurting today, but a least the boys had fun.

I took Jake to the Doctor a couple of weeks ago for his 4 year check-up and he had to have 4 shots. He cried and was of course upset, but after the nurse was done he turned to me and said "she hit me!".

Jake was outside playing last week and I heard him yelling. I came outside and saw that he was yelling at a bird that was in the garden. He was saying, "Hey bird, that's mommy's garden. Hey bird that's mommy's garden." I guess he thought he and Austin aren't suppose to walk in the garden then the bird can't either. It was so funny!
