Austin at 3 years old
This boy cracks me up. I really wanted to wear this snow hat a couple of weeks ago. Such a serious face. He hardly ever lets me take his picture.Austin just had his 3 year check up a few months late, but oh well.
Weight: 36.5 pounds
Height: 38.5 inches
Austin is such a curious boy! He is into everything. Last month he poured an entire bottle of baby soap over all the bathroom counter and floor. He loves to get into the pantry and dump out the baking powder. powdered sugar, or anything else he can get his hands on, he loves knocking over laundry baskets of clothes, and he just can't stand to keep all the toys in the toys bucket instead of all over the floor. Austin can be such a handful, but he is such a cute kid. He is a smart kid and talks a ton. He loves books too. I think he is going to be an engineer because he wants to take everything apart and see how it works. We have tried potty training a couple of times and haven't had much success. We tried for a third time yesterday and I think Austin is finally giving. It has been a little bit of a power struggle. We are still having accidents, but he also having success! I am really excited about this. No more diapers for Austin!

Emma at 15 months
Emma had her 15 month check-up and I wanted to make sure I journal about her at this age.
We had just had pizza outside for dinner and Emma is wearing it all over her face. She also had a huge bump on her head. (Austin pushed into a kitchen chair. Poor girl. Brothers can so mean!)

We had just had pizza outside for dinner and Emma is wearing it all over her face. She also had a huge bump on her head. (Austin pushed into a kitchen chair. Poor girl. Brothers can so mean!)Weight: 22.3 pounds (43%)
Height: 32 inches (91%)
Head Size: 19 inches (98%) - Our kids take after their dad and have "big heads". Hopefully that means they will be really smart like their daddy!
Emma is such a sweet little thing, but is getting a mind of her own. She loves to give kisses and hugs. I love watching her wave goodbye, so cute. She can even say "hi". Emma loves eating fruit and just can't stand to see strawberries at the store and not be able to eat them right away. She is a good eater. Which is so nice after two picky eaters. I finally have a kids that eats whatever I put in front of her.
Emma loves to be outside and now can say "side" when she sees her brothers in the backyard and wants to join them. She loves swinging on the swing set. Emma started climbing recently and loves to try and climb the ladder for the boy's bunk bed.

Mother's Day
I had a wonderful Mother's day. I woke up to breakfast in bed. Aaron made me french toast, which was wonderful. We all went to church, then came home and I got to take a nap! Which is such a treat. For dinner we went over to Aaron's parent's house for a yummy dinner. It was a nice day. I am so grateful to be a mother. It is the hardest thing I have ever done, but it is so worth it! I love my kids so much.Thursday, May 06, 2010
Jake's 6th Birthday!
Jake had a birthday party for his 6th birthday. I think the kids had a great time. I was so exhausted after the party. We played games, and had pizza and cupcakes.

Catching up
I have really been neglecting my blog. Things have just been so hectic and I haven't been taking a lot of pictures lately. Hopefully I will get on here and post some new pictures. In the mean time, here are some pictures of the kiddos.
