First Grade

Jake started first grade on Aug 18th. He was so excited to go back to school and be with his friends. I was nervous about how he would do being gone all day long, but he seems to be adjusting just fine and he loves eating lunch at school.

I snapped a picture as I was walking away. It is hard to believe that my baby is in first grade.

After school Jake saw me and came running. I sure love this boy!

Pioneer Park

While we were down in Provo we played at Pioneer Park in Provo. They kids love going to new parks.

Heber Creeper

While we were visiting my parents in Utah we went up to Heber for the afternoon. We had a picnic at the park and then went on the Heber Valley Railroad. The boys were so excited!

I love how blue Jake's eye look. He is such a cute kid.

While we were riding the train we had a "train robbery". It was pretty cute. The made everyone raise their hands to the sky. When they walked by Emma, they said she was too cute to be robbed and gave her a piece of candy.

I am not sure if Austin was really scared, but every time the train robbers guns fired Austin flung his hands up in the air. It was hilarious.

Austin is in love with trains. He was so well behaved on the train and hardly made a peep. He still talks about the train ride and wants to go back.

Oregon Coast {Rockaway Beach}

We all went to the beach one afternoon. The kids had so much fun. Emma and Austin loved playing in water and sand. Jake discovered his love for flying kites. It was perfect kite-flying weather. This was the perfect way to end our trip to the coast.
