The Secret's Path

Dan and Ali sent us a Christmas present yesterday. It was a stroller! The two-kid-toting kind for which we registered at amazon.com. Thank you! The assembly was really easy, and it took only a few minutes. It has two cupholders for the adult, two cupholders for each child, a large storage basket underneath, collapsable canopies, reclining seats, and it's outfitted to have two car seats snap into it. It's the limousine of strollers.

Joe wouldn't let me put Jake in it, so I had to improvise.





I took it all the way through the house and into the guest room, and it handles very well.

I had another appointment with my OB doctor today. Everything is fine. We listened to the babies' heart rates, which were 167 and 171. He felt for my fundus (top of my uterus), and found it just above my belly button. Yikes! My waste is quickly disappearing...

My next appointment with Dr. O'Brien is on Jan. 5, 2009. I will be almost 19 weeks pregnant by then. This will include an ultrasound that checks the babies' anatomy, and hopefully, we'll find out the sexes (for sure)!
