 I've never worn glasses, but was starting to have some blurry distance vision.  I went to the eye doctor and he suggested glasses for while I am working since I am constantly looking at little things - little pills, reading doctor's writing etc.  He thinks my eyes get really tired and then I have trouble relaxing my eyes to see at a distance.  I'm wearing them at work and it has helped there but things still seem a little blurry when I'm driving etc.  It's much worse during the week when I am straining my eyes all day at work - I never notice it on the weekends...

 Our new shutter color.  We recently put up siding around our porch and put up new shutters.  I was sending Jason pics of 2 different color shutters so we could choose.  We went with brown over navy blue!

 Tara has been babysitting our kids since Caroline was a baby!  She is always willing to come over so Jason and I can have a date night.  She is in hair school at Paul Mitchell and made a house call to cut the girls hair.  Thanks Tara - you did great!

 Our afternoon babysitter from last year, Sara Beth just had a baby!  Ruthie is the cutest little girl.  Several weeks ago we went to visit and had a blast holding her and eating lunch with Sara Beth.

 Ruthie is sad in this picture, but Madelyn had the touch - she put her to sleep!

 A couple weeks after our visit, Ruthie came to our house!  Matt and Sara Beth got to go to lunch and did a little shopping while Ruthie had 5 babysitters! 

 The girls did great taking turns feeding Ruthie.  She is so precious.  I think we're ready to add another little baby girl to this house - I would have so many helpers! Lol : )

The top 3 pictures are were taken on 2/14/11.  The bottom three pictures were taken on 3/8/11.  Silas' ear is still healing.  It is a little swollen still and not as well defined as his first ear, but it takes time.  The BEST news of all is that Silas now has NORMAL HEARING in his left ear!!!  Praise God!  He had a hearing test last week and it showed normal hearing.  It makes all the surgeries worth it.  He will still wear his BAHA so he has good bilateral hearing, but he can actually hear us pretty well now even when it is not on.  We are so pleased with the results and are so thankful God gave us the resources to provide these surgeries for Silas.  Below is a before picture of me and my baby so you can see the huge change!
