Had a wonderful morning with my parents at the Payson temple today.

It's such a beautiful temple!

The Spirit was powerful and peaceful, I'm so glad I was able to go.

Our family was in charge of the reunion this year,

so we thought it would be a great idea to bring my Dad's backyard carnival.

It was a hit!!

The candy/money dig is always a fun tradition.

A wonderful part of family reunions is getting to catch up with family that I don't get to see often.

I got a picture with my cousin Lonnie and her husband Roger.

I still remember when my sister Jan and I spent a few weeks with them one summer long ago.

We worked in their hardware store and just had a fun time with them.

Yesterday Dallin and Anna worked together to clean out and wash the Suburban.
They had asked for jobs to do to earn some money.

These pictures just make me smile :)

Grace worked by cleaning out and washing out the recycle bins.

Sadly I didn't get a picture of her work.

All the other kids were at young men or young women activities

so Anna and I had some Frisbee fun in the back yard

We also had a good lesson on journals from Dallin

and Marcy made some delicious blackberry cobbler
(with fresh berries from her backyard). We added some ice cream too!

Later we played 2 dollar basketball

and this cutie was the winner!

What a fun day I had today!

I got to hang out with my awesome friends Nicole and Whitney.

We started at Kneaders.

We only originally planned to go to Kneaders...

but one thing led to another, ha ha!

We went to Thai Drift because Whitney had never had mango and sweet rice,
so so yummy!

Next we headed to Sub-Zero because Nicole had never had that!

We ate a ton of calories and had at least as much laughter and fun.

I'm sure going to miss these ladies!

Some good friends I met while we lived in North Carolina were in town and we decided to get together for a girls night. We met and had dinner at Tepanyaki and then went to Rita's for dessert.
At Tepanyaki, I was the only one willing to try and catch the shrimp :)

   

It was so fun seeing these amazing women and catching up with them.
We even extended the festivities and got together again and did Anti-Gravity yoga.
(Not sure if I want to do that again, ha ha!)

After yoga we went for smoothies and said our goodbyes.
I love getting to have mini reunions every now and then!
