We went up to Chicago to visit Andrea and Patrick this weekend. We always have such a blast when we visit them. On Saturday and Sunday, we went to their favorite apple orchard / pumpkin farm, Kuiper's Family Farm; went to Navy Pier; downtown Chicago; had THE best Chicago pizza, Giordano's; meet up with my friend, Andy (from my music biz days) and checked out his new condo. The other fun event included Garrett mastering the art of escaping his pack-n-play...long story which now includes him escaping his crib (insert loud thud). Oh boy…

It's not quite Thanksgiving, only barely Fall but I had to share these pictures I took of Garrett this afternoon. Granted I'm the momma so I'm more enamored with my child than my audience, but he's just so darn cute!

Garrett was obsessed with this elevator. He was throwing elbows (I hate to say) when other kids tired to play with it. Needless to say he loves elevators.
