Bath Time

Here's our cute boy taking a bath.  He likes it as long as he's covered up with a nice warm wash cloth!!

YEEEE HAAA!

Ride 'em Cowboy!!  The kids love to take the cushions off the couch because they are the perfect horse.  Seth got a picture of them all lined up, it was pretty funny.  They are good kids.  They can get pretty creative when Mom says no more TV or video games.

The other picture is of me and how I spend my nights and some of my days lately.  I am in love with this little boy, he is a doll.  That is his favorite place to sleep!  He's already a month old and I'm trying to savor each stage of this sweet little thing.  We are so blessed!

Great Weather

Today the sun is shining and there are puffy clouds in the sky.  And as an added bonus the temperature is 10 degrees higher than expected!!  This is the first day over 30 degrees in over a month!!  That is cause for celebration.  I'm hoping this weekend that the snow will melt and I'll be able to see the lawn again (who knows what is lurking under that snow??  probably some toys that we would have never noticed were gone. . . And we're missing a sled)  I didn't even wear a coat when we took Jason to preschool.  (I think I'm suffering from cabin fever???)

Baby's Room

I've had several people ask for pictures of the baby's new room.  This room was originally a sitting room off the master, but Seth converted it into a nursery for the baby.  He walled off the entrance from our room and made a closet out of it and then put a door in the hallway so it is like a regular room.  It looks like this was the original layout of the house, I'm always impressed with my husband's handiwork.  He really is talented and saved us so much money!  Jason was Daddy's little helper and even pulled the electrical wiring through the wall with his skinny little arm!  He was very proud of himself!

You can't see the bedding too well in the pictures, but I made all the bedding and curtains for the room.

The last picture is of Lydia in a big girl bed.  She gave up her crib for the baby and has really enjoyed sleeping on the bottom bunk.  We've only had one incident where she got out of bed and went in to sleep with Ashley.  The funny thing was that Lydia didn't come in our room, but that night Ashley woke up and came in my room complaining of a bad dream (which she NEVER does).
