We went to the garvin get together....it was full of white elephants, opening presents.....Thursday before Christmas....kind of fun opening before Christmas, whipped topping, Bunko.....with lots of cheating....and lots of laughs. It was fun to have all of us there which does not happen very often. It was a fun night.

This year we had a few big Christmas projects.....
1. King sized quilt for grandma and Granadpa garvin with all of the grandkids and couples on it. Thanks to my partner in crime and a few other great helpers we pulled it off
2. Shirt with cowboy photos of the kiddos for seths awesome jammas
3. The kids beds.....which if I do say so myself turned out 100 times better then I think I even imagined them...thanks to all of the elfs that helped soooo much.
4. Lots of plates of goodies.....yum...I am still on a sugar high
5. I made some throw pillows one of which is one of those cool flower ruffel pillows that cost like 30 dollars in the store....I will share photos when I get them........
Pant...pant....ok I think that is all of them all completed in three weeks...talk about your procrastination....but they all got finished....thank heavens

This year we decided we would make some plates so we could meet our neighbors.  So we made sugar cookies, divinity, peanut butter fudge, and truffels.  I had the best little helpers in the world!!

Today is one of those days that you have tons to do but don't want to do it...anyone else have those days??

It was really fun seths work had a training in Vegas and seths work was paying for his hotel. So we decided this would be the perfect time to take a mini moon without the kiddos....and well it made Seth having to go to the training a whole lot more fun. While we were there we did some bowling the first night to practice up for the company party which it is a good thing that we did because we did pretty bad. Some other fun things that we did were; went to the ballagio to watch the water show and look at the ridiculously large Christmas decorations, we went to the temple that is amazing there, we went to the Vegas speedway where they had all kinds of Christmas lights that you could drive through ....got us into the Christmas spirit, got to see all the cowboys that were in town for the national finals rodeo and the miss rodeo usa pagent...I took a photo with one for risa, went out to eat with friends from work and I did a bit of shopping while Seth was in his conference. On the Saturday at the end of the week we went to the company bowling Christmas party which was tons of fun. I really love the people Seth work for it was nice to be at a company party with really good people for a change ...oh and we had someone super nice watch our kiddos during that whole week. :) it was a really great week!

We had tons of fun for thanksgiving with the fam....we went to tangled which is super cute and played
Bunko and the kiddos did snowmen out of marshmellows. I was impressed that skyler actually finished. I was sure he was going to just eat everything....which he did do after he was done

(changes-we took out the old tile around the fireplace...we are going to put in some granite tile that I got from one of the stores that had remnent pieces=$cheap$, we painted the panneling and took out the broken down airconditioner and its box that was under the window-which we are going to put some of that same tile under the window, painted the fireplace bricks so they were not the color of poop, and painted the door to the fireplace , changed out all of the plugs...oh and the big one we tore out the carpet and got the floors refinished...love them!!!)

We still have trim to go in, tile to put in and the doors to the bookshelves but it turned out pretty good
