Happy Birthday Amy!

We love having Amy as Porter's wife and a part of our family.  She's a wonderful addition to it and so willing to help with any and everything.  I love seeing Porter's caring and affection toward his Amy.  We enjoyed a great birthday dinner with them this evening at Serano's Mexican Food restaurant to celebrate it.  We were all surprised when the servers came in singing happy birthday to her and made her wear a giant sombrero.  It was a nice time and meal to spend with the two of them.  We can't wait to see the great things they do in life together.  We sure love you guys...

2019 Severtson Full-Family Easter Egg Hunt

This evening we had what has become our annual Severtson Easter Egg Hunt and this year we held it at our house rather than the cabin so everyone could make it.  It was a lot of fun!  We held it at our house this year and made use of our larger yard.  Krazy Subs and all kinds of great food filled our bellies before the kids ran out the door to find all the easter eggs.  This was Sadie and James first easter egg hunts and not sure they knew what was happening, but they had a good time with it. Sadie loved the candies and James just loved playing with the eggs.  Afterwards I took them both on a bike ride where they zonked out...it was a great day! :-)

2019 Senior Prom

Caleb and his friends decided to go to prom this year as a group and had a great time!  They went all out and the best part was they planned the entire thing themselves.  Caleb asked Aubrey Carpenter who is one of his friends and ironically her family was the builder of the home we live in.  They began their events by taking off school on Thursday to go water skiing and cliff jumping at lake.  Then Friday right after school, they were off getting ready, taking pictures then off to a great dinner Caleb said at Samurai's -- then just a short time at the prom dance and finished up all talking at Sonic.  It was an awesome time he said...what a great time for his soon-to-end Senior Year!
