Thanksgiving & Pie Night 2022!

Originally Lexine and I were going to be missing Thanksgiving this year since we had a Cinema Conference in Ghana that overlapped it and we weren't going to be home until Friday -- but last minute the conference cancelled and we were able to spend the holiday with family!  We enjoyed thanksgiving with the Clark's as has been our tradition since becoming this crazy, large Sevark clan, followed by our Severtson Pie Night which was held at Kirk & Keta's this year where we enjoyed great Pizza & Pies!  It was a wonderful Thanksgiving time to be together with all our favorite people and family we love so much!

Welcome Home Jonah!

I can't believe 2 years has come and gone so quickly!  I'm not sure if it seemed as fast for Jonah, but it sure seemed to race by quickly for us here at home...yet, so much has happened these last two years!  He started off in Michigan and finished in Guyana -- in the mission he was originally called to!  He served the Lord well during this crazy Covid time with special assignments as a trainer, district leader and even counselor in a branch presidency.  Jonah was our only missionary to return home very late at night which made it harder for everyone to be there with work and young grandkids, but it was fun for those of us who were able to meet him at the airport.  We missed Caleb being there since he's up at BYU-Idaho!  As usual, we have a meal after picking up the kid...Jonah just wanted In & Out Burger -- so around midnight, thats where we were eating out late!  The next morning Jonah was released by President Rogers and then in the evening we had his open house where we had lots of his family and friends come to welcome him back.  What a great accomplishment and milestone you've completed Jonah!  You've served the Lord well and you'll recognize the blessings of your mission throughout the rest of your life and eternity.  We're sure proud of you!
