Happy birthday to this wonderful wife and travel companion of mine!  No matter where we are together, we always find something to see and I just love my time with her.  This was a busy day for us, but we managed to fit it all in...starting with yet another birthday dinner, this time for Lexine at Joe's BBQ, then to the Reed Family Reunion where we celebrated the life of Grandpa Karl Reed and his posterity which is all of us.  Afterwards we hit up a couple more birthday dinners and treats to celebrate Lexine's birthday -- not to mentioned the Birthday Cruises we booked to the Panama Canal to celebrate both of our birthdays this year...which is only a week away!  Happy birthday Lexine...I hope it was as wonderful a day as you are! I sure love you...

Birthday dinner #5 with our wonderful and newest daughter-in-law, Bailey!  Bailey chose to Olive Garden for her dinner and we had an enjoyable conversation with her and Garrett and all that they are working on and doing!  In fact, it was so wonderful that we completely forgot to take a picture of them both...so I stole this one from Garrett's dinner a couple weeks earlier.  I sure enjoyed this evening together with Garrett & Bailey.  Happy Birthday Bailey...we sure love you and having you a part of our big crazy family!  :-)

As has been our tradition, we asked the widowed mother-in-laws who live nearby out for Valentine's day!  Unfortunately this year Grandma Porter joined our list of invitees now since grandpa passed.  But it was a cold and blustery Valentine's day which always seems to be on this day, so Grandma Porter didn't feel up to going out, so we had to drop off the flowers we got for her later.  It was just us and Grandma Glasgow again this year and we went out to Zupa's Cafe, enjoying a nice dinner and visiting together!  We were able to pick her up at her new elderly care home and seems super happy there!  It was a wonderful Valentine's evening of Widows and Widower's!  :-) 

This evening was birthday dinner #4 to celebrate Jonah's birthday!  We were a little bit late taking him out to dinner since we were on the cruise last week, but once we got home, we found the first evening possible to out this great son of ours!  In fact, it had been a few years since we were able to celebrate his birthday with him since he's been on his mission for the last two years!  He chose to go to Nando's Mexican Restaurant and it was a very nice evening catching up with him about his mission and plans for his future.  Happy Birthday Jonah...we sure love you! 

Lexine like to decorate sugar cookies each year as one of our family traditions -- especially as these grandkids are still young and appreciate these fun little things!  And they sure had a great time decorating and eating them this evening!  It was a fun evening altogether as this crazy large family of ours!  

Well Porter & Amy have been wanting to go on a cruise before Amy was too far along with her pregnancy, so Lexine and I decided we would go with them.  Then as a complete surprise, Grandma & Grandpa Severtson said they wanted to go with us!  So immediately I checked to see if any others of the other brothers & sisters could come too, but unfortunately only Kirk & Keta and Lee & Tiesha could make it work.  It was just a simple Carnival Mexican Riviera 7-night cruise, but we all had a lot of fun -- and Violet kept us all entertained with her cute little personality, eating good food, dancing around, sharing our virgin drinks, a diaper blow-out (or two) and by the end of the trip she was worn out!  It was wonderful trip...I just wish more of the brothers and sisters could have joined us!  

Birthday dinner #3 within a few weeks...this time with Maizey!  We had a very nice evening with this wonderful daughter at the North Italia restaurant she chose for her birthday dinner this year.  It was a great meal but also a great time visiting with her and everything going on in her life.  We sure love you...Happy Birthday!
