Sevark Central

We spent this weekend with as many Sevarks who could come up to the cabin to get out of the heat and all be together!  It was a great weekend with great food and lots of playing -- I'm exhausted!  We love being together with this large and ever-growing family of ours!  

Lexine completed another year of piano with her students, so immediately after Sadie's kindergarten graduation, we raced home to get ready for her year-end recital with all her great students!

She did it...Little miss Sadie graduated from Kindergarten today!  Although that was no surprise, she's so smart, she probably didn't even need to go!  But we had a nice time seeing the little graduation performance she participated in with her class, then taking pictures with her afterwards.  We sure love this wonderfully smart granddaughter of ours!  

Noah finished his MCC track career strong as he you can see from his pictures below.  Its been a great "run" for Noah with this incredible talent of his! He's made lots of friends and received many medals.  We have lots of great memories of the many years we have watch him race!

Happy Mother's day to my favorite wives, mothers, mother-in-laws, daughters and grand-daughters...I certainly been blessed with such wonderful women in my life and I love each and every one of them dearly.  It was my privilege to spoil Lexine first with a Kneader's french toast breakfast, then her favorite dinner at Krazy Sub!  On Sunday, Garrett & Bailey joined me in visiting Cindy's grave to remember the wonderful wife and mother she is whom we miss so much, then had everyone over for a nice dinner.  It was a very nice Mother's Day weekend with all these great women in my life...

It was a wonderful week after Caleb & Hays wedding and we were glad to welcome them home on Thursday evening and host their AZ reception on Friday night! We took the opportunity to get a nice family picture with all of us there as well. It was such a nice time with good food and great company!  Sure love these two newly weds...  

After all the wedding festivities and sending Caleb & Hays off on their honeymoon, we all still had 1 more day until our flight back to Phoenix, so we decided to get up early on Sunday morning and take a trip down to San Francisco and Alcatraz.  It was a great time with most of the family!  Porter & Amy decided to start their long drive home since they didn't fly and because they had lots of Caleb & Hays' wedding gifts with them with San Francisco being notorious for car break-ins.  So we missed them but the rest of us visited Alcatraz then walked around the city together, stopping at fisherman's warf and Ghirardelli's for ice cream, before driving back to Tracy, CA where our hotel was for the night near the airport.  We drove back over the Golden Gate bridge and then through the scenic route which was amazing as well! It was an awesome day...
