Saturday was Homecoming, as well as snow. The kids ran their small races early and then Becky and I ran the 5k. The best part is that we ran right along the parade route about 15 minutes before the parade started, so there were lots of people lining the street to cheer us on or shake their heads that we were crazy. But it was fun. I actually kept up with Becky pretty well until the last 1/2 mile. Here are some pictures from the day!

Yesterday, Tae, Skyler and I decided that we had better get out there and take our pictures before it got even more chilly. We took some at Bridal Veil Falls, Aspen Grove, Vivian Park and Raintree Apts. All those places were beautiful and had some significance to me and Sky. It was soo much fun! It was great being able to go as slow and take as many pictures as we wanted!! We ended up with 264!! :) After deleting the ones where my eyes were closed or where Skyler was trying to be a model, we ended up with approx. 160. We narrowed it down to "The BEST" (30), and then from there onto "Announcement Photos". That has about 8 that we love. So, really soon I will most likely post the final 3-4 on here so you guys can tell me which is your favorite! It was really fun and extremely cold, but we loved it!

It has taken me a while to think of 7 things, which is silly because I do a lot of wierd stuff. I just can't think of them when I want to I guess. So, these are the best I could come up with over the past few weeks. I can change later if I think of anything else. And for everyone who hasn't done this yet, you should! It's fun to think about and fun to read about other people. :)

1. No matter how interested I am in a meeting/class/lecture, if it goes past 30 minutes, I have to struggle to stay awake. It's so annoying!

2. Inefficient people make no sense to me. No matter how important the activity, I find the fastest, most logical way to do it, and it drives me crazy that other people can't do the same.

3. I love, love, LOVE jazz music. I can't even tell you how much I love it. My perfect day would be a warm, comfy house when the snow is falling outside. Then, I'd sit on a couch listening to jazz music with hot chocolate and Sky.

4. I count everything. Stairs, footsteps, anything. It's stupid really, and I have no idea why I do it.

5. I grind my teeth a lot. I don't think it's from stress because even when I'm super relaxed doing something fun, I still do it. I wouldn't recommend it. Two reasons: it ends up making your teeth hurt and you get a headache, and also I'm sure after 20 years of grinding, I probably will have to gum my food instead of chew. hmm....

6. I love therapeutic things. Aromatherapy, nature, the ocean, anything rhythmic and calm and quiet does amazing things for me. I thrive off of it. I never really realized how much I depended on it for my happiness until I moved back into the city this Fall. I hate the city. I don't like tons of people and I can't stand the traffic and bustle. When I can just be calm and uses my senses to feel and hear and see things that are also calm, it takes me away. I guess it's super fortunate that Sky loves the same things. We love being in the mountains, and his parents conveniently live right on the Oregon Coast. <3

7. I've secretly always lamented the fact that I stopped playing the piano. I want to be able to play so bad! I love it, and someday soon I'd love to get a piano and start it up again. Also, someday I'd like to play the guitar.

So, there ya have it! I'm sure there are plenty more. Actually, I just thought of one. I dream the weirdest stuff. Sometimes about things that are going on in my life (the other night I dreamt that no one could make it to my wedding except for Aunt Lorraine and Uncle Mike. I was bawling! So silly. Mom told Lorraine that and she said, "well thats just stupid! Of course everyone is going to be there" :). Sometimes I dream about people I know and places I've been, and frequently I dream the same dream (mainly the one about Gremlins). But, I enjoy telling people when I dream ab0ut them, and I'm sure they think I'm crazy. Oh well! So, consider yourself tagged if you read this, and let me know what is awesome about you!

So, on top of everything else I have to worry about, having to sell my contract and finding somewhere for me and Sky to live is proving to be a huge task. I'm not too super worried about selling mine, since so many people move around between semesters anyway, but finding a place for us to live for winter is ridiculous! I've been looking every where that I possibly can think of and everything ends up full or the number was disconnected. I'm trying not to get frustrated because I know it has to be out there somewhere, but if anyone has any ideas or advice that would be awesome. Thanks!! And also, we're still looking for a place for the wedding luncheon in Salt Lake. But I'm not stressing... I promise. :)

Hooray! So we finally got the ring! I guess he had it finished at the beginning of the week, but kept leaving messages at the wrong number. :) oh dear. But, I have it now, and I love it!!! It is a Blue Topaz (my birthstone) and two diamonds.
