I had this idea for Collin to be Waldo for Halloween and suggested that Cora be the same thing, not really thinking she'd go for it. To my surprise she agreed! I think it was the glasses. What's with kids loving to wear glasses? Anyway, I was so happy she went for it. They looked much cuter as a pair.

Weeeeeeeee!

This big boy loves being in jammies! He gets so excited every night when it's time to get ready for bed. His favorites pair are Santa jammies. He's still a blanket boy and a thumb sucker. He's getting really picky about his food. Not nearly the good eater he was a year ago. LOVES pizza, orange juice, applesauce, yogurt, cheese, and turkey sandwiches. He loves his Daddy. He definitely prefers Shawn over me, but I love him anyway. :) This sweet boy brings so much laughter and happiness into our lives and we're grateful he is a part of our family.

Collin likes to walk around with the swiffer pole. He goes all over the house saying "I clean! I clean!" I should stick a swiffer pad on it and let him go to work!

Collin is absolutely 100% IN LOVE with Jessie (from Toy Story). He brings her with him everywhere, tucks her into bed at night, gives her hugs and kisses all day...he loves him some JESSIE!!

Mom would have been 55 today!! I feel her influence daily and know that she watches over me and my family. Not a day goes by where I don't think about something she has taught me. She was the best mother I know and I'm grateful for every moment spent with her. I love you Mom!! Happy birthday!!!

All ready to go! Heading off to 1st grade! All-day school is going to be a big change for everyone. Collin will get some much needed quality Mommy time. I will get some quality Mommy time while Collin naps. And I just know Cora is going to change and grow SO much this year! She's going to have a lot of responsibilities like homework, reading, piano practice, dance, chores, etc. I'm sure it's going to be exhausting at times but I think we're all looking forward to this next phase of her life.

Cora's 6th birthday!! We had a family party this year with the Grundys and the Perkowskis. Pretty simple: hot dogs, fruit, chips, and of course cupcakes! Cora requested carrot cupcakes so that's what I made. Mini carrot cupcakes w/cream cheese frosting. They were pretty tasty!

Don't ask why this girl's in a sweater on August 28th in Las Vegas! It's her birthday and she can wear whatever she wants, I guess.
