my poor old hand

ok, got to get back to finish off my 10% assignment for this friday because tomorrow i'll be working again. hope that i won't hit myself again.

saturday - this year's birthday is the most memorable birthday that i have. people giving surprises that's what i love. hehe... bf asked me for dinner at saturday night because he was busy with assignment which need to be handed in on monday. so i thought its just us 2 going for dinner but while we were waiting for our food my Sam suddenly came to my back and hugged me which gave me a fright and i saw few of my other housemates and friends came and wish me happy birthday. What a surprise! i think without them i don't think my birthday would be that great! thanks guys!

i also recieved a few gifts even though it was them giving me surprsies. i didn't have any cakes but only two pieces of cake bought by my neighbour. then at 12am they sang me a birthday song. even though its not a whole cake i still feel happy and being appreciated. actually i misses pandan cake a lot. every year celebrating in kuching i'll sure ask my mum to buy pandan cake. but it's been 2 years since i ate it. oh ya, bf gave me a braclet and really love it lots. i even took some photos of it as a model posing with the braclet. haha... i'll show the picture but don't you guys dare to laugh cos it looks kind of stupid.

sunday - went out with lucy, shirley and hazel. bf was busy doing assignment at uni so did not have the time to entertain me. sigh... but the gals did entertain me well. we went and have sushi but hazel didn't get to join us as she was working until 2pm. bought a bag for myself as a birthday present. bought lots of earrings and necklace for myself as it was having reduction but then when i pay its still expensive.

at night went and buy dinner and meet up bf at uni then accompany him and wait for the last bus. even though did nothing much for my birthday im still happy to have friends around with me. at least im not alone! hate being alone!

i was also surprise when i heard that one of my good friends will be marrying soon. i was WHAT? its really a surprise. never had the thought that she will be th first to get marry. im so excited but won't have the chance to attend as i'll be having final exam. but still i wish her "Congratulations!"

monday - which is also today! i recieved a card from my parents and i totally love it. mum told me that dad actually bought the card for me. hehe... never knew my dad was so nice in choosing card which is so meaningful. love dad & mum lots! at the same time i recieved letters and presents from my friends in kuching. this was really really a surprise. it even made me cried when i was reading through different letters and cards with presents from different people. it makes me miss my good friends even more. I WANT TO GO BACK HOME!!!!

went to work today and felt really tired as if my soul left me last night when i was sleeping. was working from 8.30am to 5.30pm today which will also be the same for tomorrow. my hands are getting worst each day as my skin starts to peel off even more terrible. my chef helped me to wrap my finger up so that my hand won't get wet because he said that it will become more worst if i also touch the water. wish my hands will heal up soon!

my last presentation is done! this week has been the busiest week as i have to work, group meetings and also practicing my presentation. but it was kind of fun actually because the groupmates that i have were really cool. we had so much fun when we were having meeting. actually Clinton has been the one guiding our presentation and i think that he's really great. so Clinton thanks for guiding me throughout this presentation.

was nervous when i was in the board room trying to sell our product to the lecturer and we're like professional by wearing professional wear and even had our own name card. this presentation is worth 30% of the entire course which carries quite a bit. but the lecturer and tutor were glad with our presentation i guess because we actually discussed the price and even set for the next meeting. usually at the first meeting with customers we are not suppose to talk about price but then the lecturer asked so i guess he should be interested. that's a good thing i suppose. we still have a follow-up proposal to do and after this im done. but another small assignment need to be done before 1st june. hope that i can finish it asap.

final exam is coming soon. sigh... haven't start studying yet. being TOOOOO LAZYYYY!!!!!!!! my first paper is on the first day of the exam which is on the 9 June. then continue by 18 & 19 june. hope that i can get through it soon. then im going for house hunting. YES!!!! im going to move. but finding houses or rooms won't be easy. but glad that im going to move out of this place. hopefully i can make it to melbourne this july. but still have to see how things goes first. will be an expensive trip.

going out for a dinner tonight and i can't wait for it as it's been quite a while since i last went dinner with bf. :)

last weekend i went for a raod trip to Harvey Bay & Fraser Island. 9 of us went which consist of 3 girls and 6 guys. it took around 3 rounds to reach Harvey Bay as there were traffic jams. we also did miss a turning. when we reached Harvey Bay it was already 5pm. so after we went to our luxury townhouse to leave our stuff there we start searching for places to eat. we went to a chinese restaurant which totally sucks with the services. so guys if ur going Harvey Bay don't go for the 'Malaysian Chinese Restaurant'. i did not took any photo as my friends didn't want too. basically we were not fully fed. the veges and meat are too little. the rice is $2 per bowl. the girl that served us told us that the rice per bucket was $2 but it turn out to be a mistake. she even told us that she's new and she doesn't know anything. i was 'WHAT?' they should ask someone who are at least more experience to take order and standing beside to learn. this means that the boss was lousy in training. so can't blame it at the girl.

basically this trip is kind of expensive. sigh... which means that im poor at the moment. haha... the car we rented for 2 days cost $145 each, $185 for the luxury townhouse, $145 per person for the Fraser Island day trip. it's really really expenisive. hopefully my mum won't find out about the price if not i'll sure be nagged and scolded (Janice better do your part!). if the place your staying like Sarawak, its not worth going because its all forest, beaches and lakes. we sat in the bus more than playing out. but the Lake Mckinzey was nice. that scenary is so beautiful and you get to see sands on the lake. we did not played at the beaches because it was dangerous as Fraser Island is famous with sharks surrounding it. but its a blue blue ocean with people fishing. we ride along the beach which is a whole new experience. the road at Fraser Island was bumpy and only 4WD is allowed to the island. luckily we did not drive there if not we wont' be able to get out of the island. it's too complicated.

Yesterday was a long day for me as i have to work from 8am to 5.30pm(but finished at 6pm). things were crazy yesterday even though we got 3 people in the kitchen but everything seems to be always wrong. there was an order for a ceaser salad and after it is done and served to the customer, the customer said that he wants a chicken ceaser salad so we did a chicken ceaser salad for him after it was served the second time, it came back to the kitchen again. my colleague said that the customer wants the dark green lettuce to be thrown away and only wants the light green vege. i was like WHAT? crazy people! if want to order something order lah properly, don't make us busy as we're busy enough. but then CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! (which is not entirely true at all)

last night had Domino's Pizza for dinner. it's home delievery and this time they forgot my chicken kickers. the last time i ordered they forgot the fudge browies dipping sauce. we paid for it and they always forget this and that. i even need to remind them. what a lousy service. bf asked me to call them up and ask about the chicken kickers as we paid for it. i just then say forget about it as it took them more than 45 minutes to send my pizza over. getting fedup with them.

so what im i happy about? im happy that i got the new pair of ballet shoe that i want. and it's PINK! first time buying a pink shoe but last week i also bought a pink slipper because my slipper broke when i was going to the city and i have to walk on bare foot. luckily the people in Australia don't really care much because there's people whose working bare foot too. but the experience was nice actually, just that the floor at the city was dirty and make my feet dirty only. so went to a shop which sells slippers but did not like any of them. but luckiy my friend, Hazel was with me and she saw a $9 pink slipper which is cute and its on sale. what a bargain! Janice, the slipper you bought for me at Vincci last year is spoilt. was kind of sad when it spoilt as it was a really nice and comfortable slipper. so basically im now more into pink i guess. haha...

going to have presentation this friday and and will only be our 2nd meeting. hopefully we can get it through together. then this saturday i will be going for a road trip with my friends. Can't wait for it! at least i got something to look forward too. hehe...
